0 issues running Maggie tune.

Mines a 21.

I am going to shift to Dave’s tune shortly.

Just curious. If its running good and there are no issues why switch the tune?

Drivability, Dave’s by all accounts is a better tune including the transmission shift points.

Mine gets much worse on the interstate than in town oddly. Then again, I'm on 39's with 513s.
Drove about 75 miles the other day on the interstate, hilly here in WV, cruise set at 65 on way down, got 15.5.
No cruise on way back at 75-80, and got 14.
In town, if I stay completely off the interstate, I can get 16+.
Granted, this is on the dash average, so I don't think it's spot on, but has been close everytime I've manually calculated.

I think that's pretty good considering your tires and gear ratio!

so i bought a 20 JTS with a maggie , a hp sticker on pcm , nice rubi express extreme duty kit , well it runs like shit just found tonight the coolant pump is bad ,it has a tiny no name box plugged into sgw harness what do i need to get a mpvi2+ or is there something else better helllp please

Im not a mechanic, but I'd go to Magnuson or one of their dealers to get the correct info. Good luck!

Download the installation instructions from the Magnuson site. Most likely there is air in the intercooler line. The pump willl not run unless it is properly burped.

The hang ups I have with Daves tune, and the shift points, it under normal driving, the sub 3k shift points. I completely understand why he did it, but I also hate being in 4/5th gear at 35 mph with 513 gears.

Confirmed this morning, I am in 8th at 46 mph, lol, 513s and 39" BFG KM3. This is obviously under normal grandpa type driving.

bleeding is easy just jump the relay or un plug it and give power and ground i got a 20 vw coolant pump off Amazon
