What install notes can folks pass along?

-temp sensor relocate near headlight?
-some different location for water pump?
-anything else?
Ambient temp sensor relocation really helps. The spark plugs.
Water pump is fine once mounted just a pain. I bought a second set of heater hoses and bent them up and terminated them with pushtitite fittings and spring clamps. Bending the stock ones on the jeep just did not seem like a good routing. Hellcat (Kevin) relocated the gas tank purge valve and has great improvements in sound from the engine compartment. Thats about it. The Magnuson hardware is pretty decent.

As long as oil consumption is not high, I prefer a bit of oil on the back of the valves under hard driving conditions and it makes a good detonation detergent when it is not burning.
Goodness im out of touch. Elaborate? Doesnt oil vapor reduce effective octane and increase knock?

As long as things are not super hot and burning oil. The oil will get cooled in the intake and then dragged down on the intake valve, and cool it as well as lubricate the valve guide a bit. This out weighs the vapor in most cases. Not to mention most of the newer lightweight oils actually burn pretty clean lol.

Sounds plausible. Plugs arrived today, I’ll pull the catch can at install....these arent di engines anyway, and ive noticed *significantly* reduced volume in my catch can after the first 5,000 miles.

You still running 0w20?

For coolant- im thinking Mopar coolant for the engine and for the supercharger use was chevy uses for the LT5 supercharger system. That way they are different colors...

Me personally, I would get JTs setup. HP tuner has an unlock service on their website. They may even be able to load the flash file I developed if you send it to them with the ECM.

Im tempted by it. I know he’s a good dude I just hate buying used.

That ECU pathway is a good one though, just looked at their site.

I'm guessing that Magnuson is the best Supercharger. But that's a pretty hefty price tag. Is there anything less than a full supercharger that can increase the HP or torque? I just upgraded my tires to 35s and while the truck doesn't feel sluggish or anything, it doesn't do into 8 unless I throw it in Manual and shift it myself. And I used the Tazer JL Mini to adjust the speedometer but it didn't affect the shift points to give me back 8. Any comments are appreciated. Thanks.

No replacement. Supercharger is the bargain in place of a Hemi

You can gear it, but not much cheaper unless you can find some 4:10 take offs and cheap labor

FYI, I installed Magnuson's "latest" updated map, sent from them. I drove around on it for a couple hundred miles then promptly returned to Dave's map. It's SO much smoother throughout, the shift logic is better, and it's, overall, how I expected the Jeep to perform after installing the supercharger. It behaves BETTER than factory, just with a lot more power throughout the rpm band. My $0.02 is that Dave's spent COUNTLESS hours tuning, driving, retuning, dynoing, etc. compared to either Petty or Magnuson, which is why it's such a nailed down tune. Try it! It makes my supercharged Gladiator happy! YMMV...

I can't say enough about how happy I am with your tune, Dave! Nor can I thank you enough! I'll be sure to watch this thread for any revisions you care to release.
Phlegmon, would you mind sharing the particulars about your ride, and if I am really begging. A datalog
