What did you order???
I had an Interchiller made to my specs and shipped from Australia. It will be wired to a relay off of a factory aux switch that will use the air conditioning system to bring my IAT’s down to near freezing. This unit gets so cold that when activated, Metal coolant lines to the SC will actually condense and freeze over.

Ill run off of the HX most of the time and use this when idling a bunch or when its really hot or im hauling/towing or getting my foot heavy, etc. im over building now in preparation for turning the boost up later.

Heat is the enemy.

Hey everybody. You can try my new file above, but my truck adapted to a weird place. It started to get what I describe as a slingshot effect. It feels like torque management started stepping in at part throttle and once past a certain point it will allow all the power to come back. Not very smooth. I am working on a new file that limits power a bit more in the early rpms part throttle as I believe I do not have access to whatever is doing that process. Sorry guys, I thought I had it. The file above does move! Just hard to pull away quickly without it turning into a john force moment, after it adapts.

What am I missing from my shopping list.

I know there was something else, but the thread has blown up so I struggle to find the correct postings.
I think those are the significant purchases. There is a relocation of the ambient temp sensor and the fuel vapor purge valve. I purchased a new vehicle PCM and had it programmed with my stock programming. I also purchase new heater hoses and modified them and then replaced the factory ones. Neither of these are necessary just me hedging my bets for going back to stock.

Hey guys here is the rework. All of the weird stuff should be fixed. I even took it to the dealership and let them take a rip. They said it rips.

Oh an I am back to my transmission tune as this early low RPM lower power does better with my shift schedule.

Thanks for tackling both auto and manual for some of us nostalgic drivers !

Thank GVSKIER. He gave me bunches of data on the manual machines that allowed me to get it built up.

I've been following this thread for a while and I'm confused.

Is the Magunson kit a viable "turn key" solution. For someone who wants near factory drivability and reliability. To me, half the appeal of this kit is that the magunson blower is used by OEMs .

I played with turbo cars for decades. I understand the issues of forced induction. But that's not my thing anymore. I don't want to mess with cat-less pipes, fuel maps, 3rd party FMICs etc.

Thanks.

Dave has done a great work in getting the maggie kit to work right, but its still very much a tuner kit. (Although some are saying current file from mag is good)

For your case, Id say go with the edelbrock kit. Its a box that shows up at your door ready to go soup to nuts to tune. The only thing you give up is power potential at higher boost levels that it doesnt sound like you want to do anyway.

The hardware is there. I think the calibration will be there soon. I have confidence in the calibration I am sharing. I would definitely like to go for a ride in an Edlebrock offering and log some data.
