I'm happy to report back that I've worked with HPTuners to get the Cam/Crank Sync function added to the VCM Scanner.

I can now let you all know those replacement ECU's you bought from HPTuners can be used.

I just completed a lengthy test drive after resyncing the Cam/Crank and no longer have the odd error and limp mode being triggered.

I just downloaded the latest Beta, and I am no longer seeing the option. What version are you running for this functionality

Would you mind sharing the info here? I'm interested in performing the relearn process as well. I reached out to HP Tuners and got this as a response:

I opened up your ECM type on my bench to check it but I saw nothing in the engineering notes that it was added and I was unable to

So it looks like they have added the feature, but they have only made it available to select operating systems. It is not available to my Gladiator as of right now when I bring up the scanner. JustDSM is one of those Wrangler guys soooo

I'll have to see if I can find 4.11.679 to download and try on that version. I have 4.11.766 installed and it does not show up for my 2020 JLUR. Could potentially be year/options too I guess.

It is your Jeeps Operating system no the scanner. HP Tuners needs to activate it for your flash file part number, there are over 300 operating systems for the Gladiator and Wrangler. Send them your flash file with the request

What are the engine temps y'all are pulling?

I can't figure out if I have a cooling issue or not as I never paid attention before the Maggie was installed.

On cool days I run a temp around 200, but on warmer days I am getting up around 217. This temp shows middle of the temp gauge, but that is way hotter than I am used to my vehicles running.

on warm days I see 220s regularly. This time of year in Illinois I barely hit 200, and peeing outside is a dicey situation
