I may have actually figured it out, maybe. I got the remote drain kit. I went to look for oil vapor after driving it and noticed the valve wasn’t fully shut. Closed it, and capped the end and have driven a couple of times and no light yet. We will see.

Hope that works out. Did you clear the code with a scan tool? I tried clearing the code--the light turns off but the code remains permanent inside the ECU, so the light comes back up after driving a bit. It's supposed to clear itself after a few drive cycles, maybe 5 to 10 cycles of cold start to hot. I'll find out in a few weeks.

Have you tried Jscan to clear the codes? I might do a deeper dive

Yes I used the Jscan with the 12+8 cable. It can turn off the light temporarily but the code remains in the background since it's a permanent code, so the light eventually pops back up unless the ECU sees condition where the ccv is fixed.

What did you guys use to clean that sensor? I want to pull and check mine on my JLURD with 20k on it, then my wife’s JTD with 40k. Thanks!

I have the banks derringer and I dash, used that to clear light. Looks like it still is stored, so most likely your right, it will be a drive cycle thing. Hopefully this fixed it as I don’t see any vapor leaks anywhere. I do remember when installed my AEM intake I got the same light, it cleared after a bit as well. At least i have something to keep me busy and bitch about for the time being.

Welp, I still have the light after multiple drive cycles. And 150 miles. Tried one last thing. Went through and retightened all fittings. I took the quick drain out and plugged bottom with pipe tape. I pulled inlet and outlet ports and used the supplied or rings instead of pipe tape,( directions say you can use either and they are terrible anyways), and rechecked everything. No leaks, sprayed some water/soap solution over all connections… and light and code are back. Still no answer back from ADD. I leave for a two day camp trip tomorrow. I don’t think it will be too detrimental if I drive it this way, thoughts? Or I can Jerry rig the ops hose back in and take out can( had to cut inlet hose to intake) and the. That may still screw up the sensor.

I guess inside the manifold would be just as dirty. Going to check mine this weekend.

I'm gonna check mine too. I ordered some cleaner that will be here in a few days. I just need to figure out how to get to the sensor. Did any of y'all use a youtube vid or something to help?

I had no idea how badly I needed to check mine, until I saw this thread ;).

My '22 at approximately 37k miles. I didn't think it looked too bad. Probably 70%-80% of my miles are on highways/interstate for ~ 1 hour or more at a time. As with other things with these diesels, I would assume type of miles may play a part in how clogged it gets, but maybe not.

Thanks for sharing, everyone.
