Max weight on the hood

I see lots of photos with women/girls posing on the hood of Jeep Gladiators for a photoshoot. Does anyone know how much weight is safe to place on the hood without causing damage.

I don't know, but I'd say not too much weight. I'm scared to even lean on mine when I wash the truck for fear of leaving a dent.

Plus, if I ever find a girl on my hood, I have some explaining to do to my wife.

The hoods can dent very easily. The key is weight distribution. The models don't just go climbing up there, they get helped up so they don't put too much pressure in any one spot and dent it in.

Which hood? Sport dents easier than Mojave which dents easier than Rubicon.

I would allow no one on any of them unless the ground was on fire and even then, get in the bed of the truck first... DANG

I think the Mojave hood is the only one made of steel. Rubi and Sport are both aluminum.

Aluminum is pretty resilient so probably more than you'd think but definitely not something I'd chance.
