Metalcloak 3.5 or evo 2.5

I currently have the evo 2.5” with falcon shocks and absolutely love the ride with falcons set to soft. BUT….

Id like a little more clearance and am thinking the metalcloak 3.5 would be a nice next step. Anyone ever compare the two? I think my evo sits a tad higher than 2.5”.
Another option is the Clayton 3.5. Looks like it might be a tad more than 3.5.

I’d like to run 39s next year as well.

Yes--that is also a solid option. I wasn't planning on running the 39s until late next year or so but wanted a bit more clearance sooner. I am running the AEV Savegre II wheels and I think anything wider I might run into some clearance issues. Their Backspacing is 5.77" (+25mm offset) which is excellent for 37s as it keeps it tucked under the fenders well.

38's on the MC 3.5" and no fender chop yet. There is no rubbing but I have massive bump stops and am losing a ton of up travel
