At the show the JT lifts were $300 more than the JL lifts both Game Changer and the True Dual Rate. I was also told that the 6Pak shocks were for rock crawling and if i planned on any spirited desert driving to stick with their basic shock as it had better rebound.
Interesting as the 6paks are reservoir shocks, and the rocksports are monotube.
Eitherway I plan on running the rocksports for a couple of years then upgrading

Does anyone know of anyone that actually got one at or post show or was it just a a preorder sheet that puts them in line when they actually arrive in 2 months.

What i saw price wise was in a catalog and show prices were highlighted in red marker next to each lift.

Can't put those red shocks on. Great parts, but the branding and looks of many of their things can use some help. Understand the zinc plating on parts but gold lettering on the show jeep. -Insert throw up emoji .

Would easily consider evo but with 37s, I believe the best look to be a 3.5. Evos 4.5 just seems to much and the 2.5 not enough.

hard to understand how evo can have a couple dozen different options in market for glad and others have nothing til 2020.

There’s 2 guys I’ve seen on this forum with EVO stuff and having coil spring bowing issues and one whose track bar bushings are wearing out pre-maturely.
Maybe the other guys are doing a bit more R&D before market.

Having personally seen a JT Sport on 2.5” EVO springs, I can assure you that they are plenty high enough for 37s. Forum member @smoverland is running 38s with his.

Has anyone figured out some temporary formulas to mix manufacturer parts being that the font end lifts are same as JL. Such as a 3.5 teraflex or metalcloak JL front arms and springs with the rear of something else until rear springs/arms come in. Pretty sure the lift shops are doing some of this stuff.

I am doing that very thing i have had Metalcloak lifts & they are excellent also the Rock sport shocks ride super good & have gobs of travel . But i have a lot of friends that use Rockrawler suspensions and the are very comparable. I have Rubicon suspension with a 2” + isolator spacers , they squeak at low speed tight turn i can’t stand that so , i ordered front 3” Rockrawler springs, JKS lower fixed control arms, JKS disconnects. My front shocks are fox 0-2.5” so they should work, for the rear i ordered fat bobs 1 1/2” spacer. We will see. also have a Yeti adjustable track bar coming.

Why would you buy another set of non adjustable control arms?

What’s the view on Rock Krawler. Looks like they have a nice 3” setup on the pro line

Rockrawler & Metalcloak my two of my favorite lift kits , I have a lot of trust with both i'm trying to piece together a lift I can build on , upgrade as I go along.
