Missing engine cover for new models (2022)?

My 2020 Model has the cover but a few of my friends have removed theirs. I have considered pulling mine as well. The dust and dirt from off-roading is hard to clean off the cover.

Even harder to clean off what's under the cover. At least you can remove the cover to clean it.
On the other hand, it's just one more thing...................and I like the looks of mechanical stuff so no cover is fine since FCA decided "it wasn't needed".

(I think it would be cool if these had transparent valve covers.)

I like the looks of the old V8s with chrome air cleaners and valve covers. The 3.6 looks like the Predator to me, without his mask/helmet. lol

They aren't chrome, but they are polished cast aluminum hard to find these days valve covers.
Last guy I talked to said these were going for 350+ a pair if you could find them.

I have a 2023 Sport and it came with no cover or brackets. Called the dealership and they were not sure why. Looked into it more myself and it was due to a supply chain issue in 2021. Mopar decided to just delete them. You can find some models with the brackets and no cover.

I was bound and determined to find my cover when I bought my Jeep. I dragged Heather the saleswoman all through the service department looking under work benches for my cover. Couldn't find it. Someone said they might not have them anymore. So, I went out in the lot popping hoods to see. Everything out there was a 4 banger or a diesel. Finally let Heather go and told her to find my cover and call me! Then I got to reading on here that they don't have them anymore. That was kind of embarrassing! Bastards could have left off the brackets if they were deleting the cover.

Been there, done that.

As far as the brackets, I'm glad they left them, my ARB compressor (single) is going on there, it's a perfect fit and great placement. Nothing else needed except the plate ARB provides.
