All are Dana 44 but some trims have a wider version by a couple of inches.

I don't know all the details. Look it up. I'm sure it's readily available. I think max tow, Rubicon and Mojave have wider but it may be some others too.

Why?

I’m saying everyone always thinks that a sport gladiator has Dana 35s or something. I was siding with you haha . They don’t realize that they ALL have 44s

Luckily Dana 35s havent been a thing since TJs. All JKs had a rear 44, the only difference was standard or Rubicon. They still put the Dana 30 up front in non-Rubicon JKs but they beefed it up quite a bit.

Now all JL/JTs get 44s up front too

Do all jls get them up front too? I thought the base sports got a Dana 30? I think they have a 30 front and 35 rear according to what I’ve read

my way early 2 door jk had a 35 sadly.

I guess I put my foot in my mouth. Early 07 2 door JKs had a 35 rear and apparently some JLs have a 30/35. I just knew that all JTs have 44s, wide or standard.

Mojave brahs without factory tow package, post a pic of your cooling fan. I checked mine. It's the 600watt fan that comes in Gladiators without the tow package. Mojave, by default, does not get the higher wattage fan. That started with a bogus article...Motortrend I believe, that said Mojave gets a higher output fan. They misinterpreted the information because their tester had the tow package.

The tow package or Max Tow on a Sport is the only way you've got the high output 850w fan on any 3.6 gasser trim.

Interesting I was under the assumption (likely from a similar article) it got a lerger cooling system as well.. maybe it was the oil cooler that's different?

Dunno but the 600w fan is what's there. I've checked 2 others without Tow package. Same. I mentioned it here awhile back....

To each his own, I suppose... To me the Gator color was "meh". I actually had the chance to get a Gator that was on the lot, but the color seemed a bit off for me... couldn't decide if it was green or brown... When I saw a Gobi in the showroom, I was hooked. If it were a Mojave, I would have driven off with it that day. As luck would have it, it was a Willy's - and I was set on a Mojave... and thus my 4-month wait.

If you live off a dirt road like I do every color ends up Gobi.
