Just had my Mopar 2" lift installed and what a difference! Previously, I installed a leveling kit and experienced "bottoming out." I assume that had to do with the 35" tires, steel front bumper/skid plate and winch add-ons and weight. Got the lift for $1,365 and install for $300 including alignment. I was going to install myself, but $300 and alignment included, I could not pass it up!

I like the Mopar lift and it's been working well for me over a year. Yea, $300 for install seems like a good price. I would have done that but did it myself.

Fantastic price! The kit usually retails around 1600$ then dealers regularly charge 800-1000$ to put them on which is highway robbery.

I got a metal cloak lift with some falcon bump stops for around $1900 all in and will be putting that on myself in the driveway with my harbor freight jackstands (RIP).

Just saw the "new products" ad from HF and it included long throw jackstands for $72 - I laughed, then made a note to check them out. Why do we do this?

Oh yeah, Craftsman doesn't exist anymore....

I've had the Mopar lift on for over 115,000 miles. I just now replaced my track bar because the bushings in the stock track bar was shot. Been performing well. I have 37x13.50s. And I offroad/wheel, travel long distances, and tow a trailer. Used to tow a camper.

Nice!! Post a pic!

There truly is a difference in ride quality going with springs vs a spacer lift!
why would there be? You are using the same springs as factory, so the same spring rate, the same effect and actions on bumps. You aren't changing spring rates or how far the spring is compressed with a spacer lift.
The only reason there would be a difference is because of the springs themselves.
If you lift it 2" with springs or lift it 2" with spacers, ALL ELSE being the same parts, the spacer lift should not change the ride quality.

The amount of travel is increased with a spring lift. It can and does soften the affect of dips, bumps, humps, speed bumps, etc.

Are you playing devils advocate or being serious?

Why is everyone complaining, myself included, about the stock diesel and bottoming out? Is this not a ride issue?
Is the issue not entirely resolved with a spring lift?

It should be noted that direct user experience suggests a 2” spacer lift can help, but does not entirely solve the problem. A 2” spring lift has.

My response was to the OP who went with new coils and new shocks; mopar lift vs just having spacers.

I believe my statelement is accurate as it relates to this thread.

As referring to diesels, yes, but you are in the suspension area, not specifically diesel, and saying in a blanket statement that there is a difference in ride quality, basically saying I would notice a better ride.
It is resolving diesel equipped JTs bottoming out on bumps, but for a gasser with no issues like that?
You didn't say it was an improvement for diesels, you said it was just better than spacers.

I was using that as an example.

It can be applied to the gas. Hell, it was the same on my JK when I went from spacers to springs.
