On the JK, no. I bought it used with a RoughCounty lift and this is my daughter's daily driver. I never liked the springs that came with the kit, and there is a specific construction area on her way to school where she gets death wobble every morning unless she drives at 20-30 MPH (the speed limit in this section is 50). I drove it a couple of times and it's definitely wobble. I have another JK with similar lift height, but using stock sahara springs and some spacers and it exhibits zero wobble. My JT is the same.

I decided to ditch the RC springs and go with Moog OEM springs. Without the 2.5" spacers the wobble disappeared, but she hated the fact it was now stock "Eeew!" she said "it's, like, factory looking now"... So, I added the spacers to get back the lift but the wobble came back, although not as bad, making me think it's the track bar angle.

Her caster is just slightly out of range (maybe 1 degree) but so is my other JK so I have not gone there yet.

Are you thinking it's the caster, or were you just asking in general about whether I changed out the LCA's?
Yes. I was asking about the caster. Sometimes, that's the culprit. And I can see why she wouldn't want stock. Haha. My daughter would have reacted the same way.

Mopar lift w/ stock 33s tires is fine, but i developed bump steer after added the 37s. Steering stablizer fixed it.
This is me right now. 124 lbs of tire and wheel at each corner and the stocker doesn’t really cut it. Just waiting for it to come in from back order.

37" (12.5" wide) Cooper SST Pro with Dirty Life DT-1 wheels. The tire is about 83-84 pounds by itself.

Stock Rubicon Wheel and Falken AT tires were 86 lbs:

I believe the track bar and drag link should ideally be at the same angle and close to the same length. I would imagine with that lift you would want adjustable control arms or geometry correction brackets (if they are made for a JK). Are you using the same tires when 'returning to stock' versus with the lift? On a JK I'd be suspect of the track bar bushing being worn out. Perhaps the extra angle or the being offset to one side after the lift with a non adjustable trackbar is enough to induce it with slightly worn out bushings.
Yes, I am using the same tires: BFG KO2 33's with and without the spacers. Could be the bushing, but when I checked the track bar using all the "tricks" I know how, it appeared pretty solid.

You actually have point. With the age that's probably on the

Here's a thought. May not be the problem, but it's something to check. Maybe the 1 degree of the caster being off over time has caused the bushing to wear out.

You could always take a video of all the joints while having someone turn the wheel from from 10-2 and post it here for some more group diagnosis.

You guys have given me something to think about for sure. When my son goes back to college later this week, I think I'm going to swap out his track bar into my daughter's and see if anything changes.

I looked into bushings, but it seems easier to just buy a new track bar instead (if that's the culprit).

If that doesn't change anything, I appreciate the offer to analyze a posted video!

Front sway bar links included were 68306981AA
I am in the process of ordering and am seeing a new part number ending in AD. Do you think it corrects the bolt problem?

Great question... if you end up getting it, I would love to know!

I also measured the drag link and track bar angles on my "no wobble" JK.... 7 degrees for the drag link and 6 degrees for the track bar (measured near the same spot, close to the axle mounts). I'll measure my other JK when my daughter is home from school and post the results.

I am being told now they mopar won't release the new part number until the AC versions are gone. My local dealer said there are over 500 units of the AC version in the Atlanta warehouse. I may wait a while longer before I order now.

Oh, and here's a before/after of mine. The "before" is the stock suspension (Rubi) and 33" Falken tires. The "After" is 37" BFG KO2's and the MOPAR kit + Teraflex 1.5" front spacer kit. All in, I got 4" of lift in the rear and 5" up front. My rock rails measure about 22 1/2" from the ground now:

I’m getting ready to have a shop install my Mopar 2” lift on my rubicon. Prior to ordering the lift I ordered the teraflex 1-1.5 spacer (leveling) kit for the front. You have both installed? I swear I have seen others post they did too. My local shop recommends against installing both, saying the don’t recommend “doubling up”. I got the leveling kit because I’d like to eliminate any rake if there is any (most posts I see are consistent with that); wasn’t planning on the lift, but found a good deal on one so bought it a couple months later. Is it normal practice for shops to not install both a lift and a leveling kit?

I agree with your shop, with the Mopar lift and a 1.5” spacer the caster will be very low, also a lot of axle shift with that much lift and the oem track bar.

I do have both, but I did the work myself. Not sure if it's common practice for a shop to not recommend both. I don't see why it would be an issue, other than the extra 1.5" puts the caster out of spec with the LCA's included in the MOPAR kit...
