I wonder if that CCR Sport wheel chock will fit the factory front rail in the jeep bed?

I sent them an email asking that question I think they were going to check if it fits but I never heard back from them. I'm guessing it doesn't fit without modification.

Hauls my bikes just fine! Coming from a f150 with the long bed I miss the added length, but this works in a pinch.

Did a test run with one bike.

Two bikes should fit but will be a very tight fit. I'll try that later with some help.

I'm using a pro moto rack from CCR Sport. Ramps is a combination of a ReadyRamp and a Black Widow ramp. If you notice I'm also using rhinoramps to lift the front of the truck to lower the rear.

Ready Ramp Truck Bed Extender - Ready Ramp

7' 10" Tri-Fold Arched Folding Motorcycle Ramp | Black Widow (blackwidowpro.com)

Lift | FloTool® #1 in Automotive Fluid Management (Rhinoramps)
Any photos with the Ready Ramp used as an extender?
How well does the Black widow ramp fit in the back with a bike in there too?

I am painting my 97 FLSTF gator and need to move it back and forth, 600mi or so, with me a few times this summer.

I've been looking for ideas, and so I ordered a couple parts, and am about to head to Home Depot to get a 4'board and some bargain bin wood for a 5" frame chock. Tell me what you think of my plan?:
I will lay a board across my tailgate between the tailgate and the ramp, when I place this ramp, I've ordered, onto it:

once the bike is in the truck, I can disassemble the ramp and put it in the truck (Ill want them in - to snake the tie-downs through). Then I'll put a board like the one on the tailgate under a scissor jack spaced just far enough ahead of the tailgate, to put a nice wooden chock under the frame to keep the rear wheel from putting any significant weight on the tailgate, to avoid risk of taco-ing it. I just need something small that can get the frame up a hair, to chock it before the tailgate, and this cheap one will do:

Well, I don't see this as a lot of work, and a trailer seems a lot of money compared to this fine option. Here's what the paint looks like...

Loved going back through the pics in this tread of cool bikes loaded up again!

I'm at that point where I need a solution to fit at least my Husky 701 in the bed while towing a smaller travel trailer. Obviously the tailgate will have to be removed for trailer clearance, so that will require some kind of channel in the bed for the rear wheel to sit in. Liking that CCR Sport ProTrack Rack for bed reinforcement and tie down......Looks like they are always out of stoick as I think they were last time this thread came up?

I assume the tailgate comes off pretty easy too?

Love seeing this. How is the gate holding up with all that weight?

@cbushek I have a CCR protrack chock from my last truck, but I didn't see the need for it for the gladiator bed as the spray in bedliner adds enough friction to keep the tire straight. Also, the tire chock pushes the bike back even further which I saw as a drawback.

I run my straps from the bottom triple clamp down to the factory cargo hooks, and saw very little movement. They were short trips, if I was going further I'd probably run a couple more straps to stabilize.
are you loading one or two bikes?

2 street bikes in the bed. Definitely a 2 person operation to load. Unloaded by myself but NOT recommended.

It looks like you are walking on the Blackwidow ramp and running the bikes up the ready ramp.
If so, what is the reasoning?
I was thinking if I got a ready ramp I would only use it for the walking ramp due to its shorter overall length.

Yes but sometimes I have switched depends on terrain. If I had a sturdy step or cooler I would only use the ready ramp. But I feel more comfortable using 2 ramps.

I had a 2wd Tacoma when I bought tne ready ramp. Then I got a Silverado 8ft bed and I decided to get the black widow ramps with the extra width i had, and close the tailgate with room for the 3 ramp pieces.

With the gladiator I am using the ready ramp again plus 1 of the black widow ramps for myself.
