Five of us went to Kansas Rocks for a day of wheeling in sporadic rain. I've been going there for a decade to stay sharp on my off-roading skills, so when I'm out on adventure trips I know what I can safely handle. The drivers of the Max Tow Sport and Overland have never been off-road before. The red and silver Rubicons have been a few times as well, so it was a decent mix of experience in the group. The newcomers were enamored at how capable their Jeeps were. They thought they'd need massive lifts and tires to go anywhere in the muddy park, but they were proved wrong. Yet again, the Gladiator's long wheelbase was proven not to be a major hindrance. All had fun and my eight-year-old son got his mud puddle fix. I'm still cleaning it.

Certainly! From what I recall-

Gray Sport Max Tow: only mod was possibly hair extensions.
Black Overland: 1.5" leveling kit and 33" ATs (unsure which brands)
Red Rubicon: stock suspension, stock 33" MTs, 3/4 bed rack, RTT, Method wheels
Black Rubicon (mine): 35" Falken Wildpeak MTs, stock suspension, AEV snorkel, Artec aluminum belly pan skids, sugared-up eight-year-old
Silver Rubicon: 2"(3"?) Rock Krawler lift, 37s, full rack, clean MaxTrax

Even with mud terrains they struggled? Granted it was uphill

Great video, loved seeing the stock JT going through it

There is something about KRocks mud that is different than anywhere else. LOL! That place is REALLY a different animal when wet. Like the OP, I've been going there since it opened. Even the most well built rigs with the best tires struggle when it gets wet, and we have had a LOT of rain in this region this spring.

Fun times, that seemed incredibly slippery!

I laughed at that 13:30 moment, my 6yr old also sometimes go overboard with the zooming!

Good spotting! That mud is crazy slippery. Looks like a good time. Thanks for sharing.

The only thing I can equate it to is mud from the Ohio river, my Falken MTs have just spun in place before on that stuff

Cool video. Only been mudding in trucks in fields. WOW I can see the importance of a good spotter.

Good job spotting and remaining calm with the newbies. That will go a long way in their learning process.
Man that place looks slicker than snot. Makes me appreciate the Mojave (desert) even more. Would not want to clean up after a weekend in that mess.
