The OP asked what features people really liked, or really wished they had. My responses are primarily related to features very difficult or expensive to add later. I don’t think they care to hear about features people with 4 decades of driving think they’re too tough to need. :).
No, the OP asked for opinions on what forum members thought were "must have" options from the factory. I gave my opinion based on my experiences. I'm sorry my opinion seems to have threatened you somehow.

Not sure I can be helpful here. They are always on when I want them on and always off when I want them off, so I haven't even tried to manually activate them. Are you saying there were times that you wanted them on, but they shut themselves off in auto and you couldn't manually activate them? Is the camera being fooled into thinking there are cars around?
Dark road entering our neighborhood. No lights, and curvy. It would not automatically turn bights on, and wouldn’t allow manual activation. That’s what led me to disable the feature in settings.

Not threatening at all. But you weren’t replying with features you liked, but commenting on features others like, as being unnecessary if you’re tough. I grew up in WI and did my fair share of manual starts after melting ice on key holes to unlock, with temps exceeding 20 below. I, as did you, survived. That doesn’t mean we can’t survive more comfortably as technology improves.

I'll have to try it next time I get the chance.

I was initially disagreeing with an option that some on this thread had listed as a must have, providing some anecdotal reasons why, and later mentioned some other options that I felt were important, or not. You can continue arguing the point if you wish, but I'm good.

I’d be interested in your experience with auto brights. Maybe it’s something I was doing wrong. It was relatively accurate when they turned on, but would not then allow me to manually activate brights when they were needed. I ended up disabling it. Any hints?
Ok Mr. Dan. I had a chance to play with the high beams on my way to work today. If the headlights are in "Auto" and you try to put on the high beams by pushing the lever away from you, it simply deactivates them as you said. The first work around I found is you can hold them on by holding the lever back towards yourself. This is inconvenient, so I did a little more testing.

If you take the headlights OUT of auto by turning the selector counter-clockwise one notch, you lose the automatic high beams function, BUT they now work like regular high beams. So if you want to use the automatic high beams but find yourself needing to override their chosen condition, instead of grabbing the lever, just flip the selector back a notch. You can even leave the lever in "high beams on" all the time for quick changes.

Very nice. I didn’t catch that. Nice option. Appreciate it.

So I went from a 2015 Altitude GC to my '21 Mojave. I have to say the Mojave seats and steering wheel are really nice. I also have the trailer tow group and added the factory brake controller as I tow a 19' E-Pro camper. My Mojave tows well enough, but I can say I preferred my GC for that. What I absolutely would want if ordering my JTM today would be:

Proximity entry (my GC spoiled me on this)
LED Lighting (I do find the halogens underwhelming)
AUX switches (for aftermarket adds)
Tow Package (non-negotiable)
8" screen and Alpine Sound (I've been very happy with this)
3 piece hardtop (bc Jeep)
Remote Start (in Tx this is sufficient on cold mornings)

Just because something didn’t exist, and we survived the 80’s and 90’s without it, doesn’t make it any less nice. Parked outside, buried in snow at close to 9,000ft, the cold weather package is amazing. If I’m not mistaken, remote start goes with it, which is even more important.
Other downfall and reason we didn't get the cold weather package was we don't get the remote start since we went with a manual Trans. I add one on my own To fix that issue. So I'm with the guy you quoted and we only get a few cold months here in MD. Heated seats really speeds up the have to poop factor after coffee! Lol

I have the manual and still love the cold weather package, for the heated steering wheel mostly. My hands thank me.

Max tow, Rubicon and a couple of others get the wider axles (by a whopping .75" per side!) but that's the difference. So far no one can demonstrate any other differences related to the axle tubes and so on. There's a legend out there that the tubes are thicker on Rubicon but that's not really the case. If it were, someone could prove it and show where they got that info. I suspect it was an early early magazine article that's since disappeared.
Other than lockers for Rubicon and so on - the main difference is width. And that's 1.5" total width, .75" per side. The 1.5" makes a difference for towing stability.

I've been asking for 2 years - no takers - show the differences other than width. So far, crickets.
The wide axles all have 10mm thick tubes.

For me:
Towing package with the Rubicon and Mojave, even if you don't tow.

Or

Max Tow for the other trims able to get it, even if you don't tow. Huge upgrade!

Aux switches.

Alpine Stereo.

Cold Weather if you think you want it.

Black 3 piece hardtop. (I have the premium soft top but wish I got the hardtop)

What I wouldn't get:
Steel bumpers are too expensive and I preferred the look of aftermarket options instead. I have the Rugged Ridge HD bumpers.

LED lightning is too expensive. I see posts here of people raving about them, but this forum is also full of posts of people hating on them. I'd rather go aftermarket.

Please provide link showing the differences. (in other words, show your work LOL)
It's been said by people - but no one can ever back it up with proof, just what they were told or read on a forum.
Proof, please, and show the thickness of the non-wide axle tubes.
Link to source.
