Yuppers! He is an amazing dog. He has his fair share of quirks, most likely from his previous "life", but he is a big beefy baby.

Awesome. Usually quirky, but smart dogs. Our rescue part pit is the most stubborn, smart, & sweet dog. She’s something else.

Not done yet, but I got some work done on the tailgate yesterday. I have to find a back window that I like before I cut the hole for it.

Looks great! I'm assuming TIG everything? Is that your profession?

It's actually MIG through a Harbor Freight OmniPro 220. I have yet to try my hand at TIG, but I really want to try it. And unfortunately, I do not do this professionally. I am just a self-taught, shade tree fabricator that likes to build stuff.

I've been driving around with the top on for a few weeks now and doing small things to it here and there when I get time. Ordered gas struts for the doors, but they were a little too short and did not hold the door up as much as I had hoped, so I ordered stronger, longer ones. Hoping to get the exterior bedlined next weekend.

Very nice. You could sell these, I would buy one. What are the little black square things on the angled part of the roof? Also, do you think this would support weight, like a RTT?

They are brackets for E-tracking clips that I use for hoisting the top on and off, and also I will be using it as tie down anchor points for lumber, kayaks, etc. And yes, I believe it should hold an rtt as the frame is 2 in aluminum I-beam and the uprights are 2 inch by 3 in box channel.

Thank you. I think I learn something new every time I work on it so it's been a massive learning process, filled with trials and errors. If I had the time, better resources, and a shop, I would definitely consider custom making things like this.

Do you plan to pull the hardware, door latches, and windows before you bedline the exterior? Or just tape everything off?

With time constraints, I would assume prep it and tape it up

I'm honestly not in a rush to get it done, and my plan is to lift it off next weekend, put the first coat on Friday night, let it set, and recoat it Saturday morning. I cleared it with one of our mechanics at my job to use a bay in the shop for a few hours.
