WOW. You need to work that connection. Ha.
I've had so much bourbon in my life... I used to joke that I "stopped" drinking bourbon when I was 14. That's not a joke... I mean, it's funny, but it's true.... didn't pick up another bourbon until my early 40's.

But, with all the consolidation in the bourbon market, Beam was long ago swallowed up and it's changed hands a couple of times. Owned by a Japanese holding company now! My great uncle Jim (not "the" James, but a descendant) was the last direct lineage I ever knew.

I emailed Renee about my FCA control number (I understand the dealership prefers to know about this prior to taking delivery) and she said that my Jeep is still waiting on a truck. So I guess this means trailers are loaded up at the factory? I always assumed there was just a big lot that's segmented into different regions or whatever and they were loaded up as needed. I was never aware that my Jeep even made it on a truck to a point to even be stuck there.

She anticipates mine will arrive soon though, as she mentioned she printed a sheet on Saturday and my Jeep was on it. She didn't specify what this sheet was, but I guess that's good news.
Did she take your control number? I haven’t generated mine yet because I wasn’t sure how long it would take for them to process the Jeep once it got to the lot.

I'm honestly surprised you're still so engaged in this discussion.

Nothing personal against you at all, it's just human nature for motivation for something to drop once you've obtained whatever it is you were working so hard to get.

So, big thanks for all of this as well as your continued support!
Ha! I appreciate the kudos... I'll sail off into the sunset at some point. I just want to see all the OG's that ordered back in Oct (even WAY before I did) get their rigs!!

I can't believe some of the MY2021 wait times... some guys ordered in April/May and just got theirs within the last month or two. That's CRAZY.

Crypto has nothing but my build sheet appeared!
Crypto had nothing on mine since Oct..... I messaged the OP, never got a response, but noticed about a week later I got an update that my build was found. Then I got an update three days in a roll, last one being a window sticker..... that was last week... about 3 hours ago, I got an email from the dealer saying it was being prepared for shipping.

When you say FCA, is that so you can get the Treadlightly discount ? Or is there another benefit from It ?

Nope, she just said to bring my Tread Lightly membership letter (which has my join date) and my control number when I show up to make the deal.

I ordered on 11/4 and Got Window Sticker on 12/7. Expected delivery to Gupton is 12/29. Sorry to hear yours is stuck somewhere.
It's all good. I'm kind of stuck in a two jeep lovers triangle anyway. Built a blue Willy's but I really wanted nacho. There's one a few states away but it's the freedom addition and not a hardtop. I can't stop thinking about her. She's been sitting for months but dealership won't go below invoice.

Oh the pain.... That my wife wishes I would stop talking about

I've been a Tread Lightly member since 2011, and ever since then (except for a random few months recently) Tread Lightly members qualified for the FCA Affiliate pricing of 1% below factory invoice.

To qualify you must be a Tread Lightly member for at least 1 month. Your membership paperwork includes a company code that you plug into the FCA Affiliate website, and then you generate your control number there.

You use this control number to actually obtain the discount, but you must bring your membership letter with you to prove that you've been a member for at least a month.

Otherwise, even with a control number that you can generate at any time I believe, the dealership will not accept the pricing. So if you're interested and not yet a member, and you anticipate your delivery date being beyond 30 days from now, now is the time to go to Tread Lightly's site and sign up. Subscriptions range from $100 to either $250 or $500 per year, maybe even more, but the $100 membership is the minimum qualifying subscription.

I really wish I would have signed up. By the time they brought it back, I hope it is to late. I was hoping to pick up my jeep this week, but it is not looking good. If not, then hoping just after Christmas.

If I'm able to make it before you or anyone else can make it out to Gupton after your trucks are delivered, I'll make sure to scope the lot and snap some pics of y'all's rides.

Is there a support group for people that are spending too much money on a truck they don't even have yet? I can't stop! I need help!
For some of us, its our wives, who deal punishments in different ways.

Has anyone confirmed with Daniel or Renee that Gupton will honor tread lightly?

I don't want to ask if others have already or are about to.

So we (me and the owner of our dealership) decided to make a call up today because he has some 392s and a couple other for stock Gladiators that are now ALL in shipped status. He’s getting annoying because each has now been over a week. Get on the phone with a connection in Toledo here’s the short. Dudes looking at 1000s of Rigs loaded, built, inspected and signed off all siting with straps on the axles ready for the road on trailers right this second. He also can’t see any drivers to pick said trailers up. So that’s why if you have an eta that is (todays date) to (some date in the next month) that changes every day, it’s because in a normal world it would already have been picked up and on it’s way. Instead we got a lot full of loaded trailers and no one to pick them up.
