I would not trust the email. I would contact your dealer and get their input on when you would actually see your vehicle. My dealer told me that while Jeep says your vehicle has been delivered to the dealer it is in fact dropped at the dealer holding area. In my case that location is 2 hours from my dealer and they dont pick them up every day. So checking with them is my recommendation.
True. I was holding off on contacting the dealer because I know they are busy, but some clarity here would be nice. I'll see what they say.

Ordered: 1/13
ETA: 2/17

Dealer gave me an ETA of April when I ordered, so I'm having a hard time trusting the ETA given to me from the Jeep Wave email. I reached out via Jeep Chat today and they stated that it was in Trim though.

I was planning on selling my JKU at the end of March and then working from home for a week or two.

So now I'm torn. Do I:

  • Trust a ~30-day order-to-delivery timeframe and sell now, hoping I'm not left without a vehicle for months
  • Remain skeptical and chance a much shorter timeline to sell my JKU
My JKU is paid in full, so I guess it's not the absolute end of the world if I have to have both of them for a short time. But I was planning on using the cash for title, tag, any down payment dealer might ask for, etc.
Dont trust it till you get a dealer ETA. Mine was built and shelved on 1/5. Only update is it was moved to new storage for scheduling shipping on the 13th. Still there waiting with no schedule. Jeep Chat says 1/25 - 2/7. Im not holding my breath, used to say 1/5, delivery and th

en 1/24. Going to eastern VA.

CONGRATS!!
and
Sayterdaye!?!?

I'm jealous! Monday was earliest I could do with work. Damn work. Making me do things to buy things. It's messed up.

Umm... you might want to recheck your arrival airport....

Capture 12.webp

Could still be fun!
DOH. I meant BNA lol. Bought the earliest flight I could get, and I'm a night shifter, so that's how you know I'm dedicated ?.

If you want pics of your truck just holler a description at me and I'll post them when I'm there along with my new boo lol.

If you are already in the trim phase, it should be complete in a few days and scheduled for shipping in the near future. Actual delivery date will depend on where you live and any shipping delays / issues. That being said, it sounds like it's on track...

Checked in with the dealer and they confirmed what Jeep said- on track and might even be released by end of month and arriving there mid-Feb.

Still sounds crazy to me. Has anyone else had a 4 week turn time?

I just don't get how my order is set to arrive before orders that were placed in late NOV and even DEC. They would have had to start production almost immediately after it was ordered.

It wasn't even a minimal build. Fully loaded Sport S Max Tow, 6.4 Auto. The only things I passed on were accessories and the bed liner really.

I ordered 11/26/21 and sold my ram to carvana 2nd week of december. I couldn't pass up how much money they were throwing at me. I could have waited. Maybe they would have thrown more money but maybe it would have been less. Point is that I walked away comfortable with that decision and have no ragerts. +1 Carvana.

HoWeVeRrrR!!

If the ram was paid off I would have sold last week when my delivery window was only pushing back 2 days via Jeep Chat. My Jeep Wave email was off by 2 days (it arrived early). Also, a few pages back there's an AWESOME dude @ThirdCoastOffroad who math'd out cyrptotracker to determine the average order to estimate delivery date, (Pg 131, TLDR-36.5day avg) but watch out, there be outliers.

Anyways. I've been using a moose to get around since the 2nd week of december. It's cold, bumpy, slippy, smelly. It requires a lot of tlc but it's getting me from a to b on the cheap. By this time next week I'll be riding around in Moe Jave. So as the kids say "totes worth."

Enjoy the rollercoaster!

Welp, my build was completed last on Friday and I was excited to see cryptostickers found my window sticker this morning. Every option was correct (thanks Daniel!) but my heart sank a little to see that it showed the recent factory pricing increases…. My MSRP shot up nearly $2000 compared to when I ordered.

Sounds like Gupton does do the price protect, I’m hoping that’s true, can anyone in the financing phase with Gupton confirm?

I mean $2k isn’t going to break the bank, but I definitely would have configured it differently had the those prices been in effect at the time of order (gorilla glass alone increased $300!!!!!).

Finally picked up my truck from Chapman last night. All is well in the world. :)

The fuel system issue is all fixed, and my JTSD drives like a dream. It got the seal of approval from my 7-year old on the ride home who exclaimed that he wanted me to take him to school in it every day. I do need to get the side-steps installed ASAP because once I lift it and put the new tires on, he's going to have to do some acrobatics to climb in.

I'll get some pictures up soon - Next step is to get the side-steps, bumper, winch, Oracle lights, Tazer, Pedalmonster, Line-X and Tonneau all put on so I can clear all the boxes out of my garage. Then as soon as my rims come in, I'll get the lift and rims/tires put on....Phew.

What was the amount of savings you received going through Peterson financing vs your own?

I was under impression that the discount is 1% similar to Grupton if we use Peterson financing but now I am being told it's more than 1%.

Ordered 12/17 via Gupton. Cryptostickers alerted me to a build sheet this morning!
I'll take the progress, Jeep Chat continues to be clueless.
Jeep email claimed week of 2/18 delivery to Gupton.

Did you order a 22 before the full guide was available? Like was your pricing an assumption based on 2021 prices at the time of order?
