If you go here and register; https://www.mopar.com/jeep/en-us/sign-in.html
Then input your VIN, you can go to "My Garage" and see what your JT has.

Side note, the upgraded fan does NOT show up on the lists, but I believe if you have the upgraded alternator you also have the fan.
Negative - if you have Aux switches but no tow package, you have the alt but don't have the fan.

So they break it out on Overland/Sport with or without Tow Package, but not Rubicon or Mojave.... weird.
i believe the ruby gets a GCWR penalization because of the added skid plates, rock rails, other off road stuff the S doesn't get and softer off road suspension. Similar concept can be applied to the Moe, since it also has a unique suspension.

This model is a Mojave by the way with the 8.4 nab system. So fan and class I’ve hitch and reciever seems all i will need. Also read some there that the Mojave has the 850w fan but I can’t see it on the window sticker
Mine is a 2021 Mojave and it has the 600w fan (visual verification), build sheet says, " STANDARD DUTY ENGINE COOLING "

So this one I’m looking at has a class 2 hitch rated at 3500 lbs but I have seen where Mojave with no max tow is 4500. Class 4 is rated for 10,000lbs but I think the Mojave with tow package can tow 6500lbs. Seems like this is sadly a no go

My Mojave didnt come with the tow package. There was not a ton of stock when I bought it. I used the above writeup to add the 850 cooling fan and the hitch was an fairly simple install as well. I ordered it from Rubitrux and they were great to deal with. Its a very easy upgrade and i have had zero issues with the 220 amp alternator running it. I can now tow 6000lbs.

Mojave can't have Max Tow. The only 4500lb rating I can find for Mojave is manual trans. Autos are 6000.

No Gladiator period is rated for 10,000. The highest is 7650 on a Sport S with Max Tow option.

For the Rubicon and Mojave, there is no distinction between with or without tow package, only the trans. For that reason, a NON tow package Mojave is rated 4500 manual trans 6000 auto trans. With tow package? The same.

Getting a JT with the factory installed Tow Package gives you the Legal Protection of a specific Tow Rating. Not everyone cares about this, because it has never been a problem for them. As long as you stay within that Rating, you are legally okay to behave stupidly, but not negligently.

Adding the missing components of the Factory Tow Package will give you a truck that is physically capable of performing the task. However, you only have the legal protection up to the factory Tow Rating it shipped with. Again, this is not a concern for everyone. Each person has to determine how much risk they are willing to accept.

The thing is, with the Mojave, only 2 ratings are listed:

MT: 4500
AT: 6000

There is no separate "with" and "without" tow package on this trim like there is for Sport and Overland.

There is nothing on the door sticker. So - this leads me to believe the tow package does not increase the tow rating for the Mojave, so he'd be fine, up to the rating for the transmissions given.

Another thing - using factory components - the question would be "does it have the tow package"?

First you must define the "tow package":

240a alt, 850w fan, Class IV receiver hitch

If you add all of these OEM components, you have the "tow package". It doesn't say "with factory equipped tow package".

Splitting more hairs! =D

What do you mean there's nothing on the sticker? There should be weight ratings. Not a direct tow rating, but at least a GCWR or GVWR.

Sorry - nothing differentiating.

2 Mojaves with all identical builds except 1 with tow package and 1 without = same GCWR and GVWR. This means he can add the tow package and nothing changes.

I don't know if same is true with Sport and Overland. The Sport gains 1500lbs of tow rating with the tow package. Mojave and Rubicon gain nothing. The only different things with them would be springs, gears, and axles AFAIK. Even though those things would seem to help, the tow package doesn't add them to the Sport. ( not talking Max Tow )
