New Gladiator Trims ? 2025 Model Year

Not sure if this is confirmed or not but i was surprised at the new gladiator trims segment. Seems to be the one potential called " Dark Skies" replaces the nighthawk. I was hoping for an updated freedom edition but hey it is what it is. I wont be surprised if they announce that 4XE very soon.

I immediately discount the content when I hear a supposed Jeep person pronounce Willys as "Willeese" instead of the proper "Willis". I do agree though that the "special editions" of the Gladiator have gotten a little too gimmicky (and I'm saying this as a Jeep Beach owner).

The Dark Skies with a Mojave hood is actually interesting though...

I mean no disrespect but I really miss the old DRC. When they would do mods and talk about older Jeeps. I understand that there is money to be made but I really wish they had a real Jeep spin off like the old videos.

It really is a shame. I can understand folks slotting in an obvious product placement video now and then to pay the bills. They just sort of went full steam ahead with the marketing mush and have zero actual content.

My son's name is William, but because he's 4 he's Willy. He was 2 when I got my Willys. It immediately became Willy's. Don't care about right or wrong, don't even care that I replaced my Willys with a Mojave 6 months later. That'll always be Willy's to me.

Just asked Copilot to create an image of an old school small pickup truck with a single cab in green, steel wheels, Jeep grille. This is what I got. Put A/C, Bluetooth, CarPlay and a small diesel and I would be happy. Then I asked for a crew cab. Sweet! The last image is for a futuristic Jeep Gladiator with big tires. Not too bad.

I like the name "Willy". I appreciate the classic names as my younger son is "Henry".

That being said, you may have missed an opportunity to name your son "Willis". After all, there are legends with that name...

I had never heard anyone call it "Willis" Until I left the northeast

Rather than new trims, I'd rather they focus on quality and improving small things. This may be controversial, but I wish they'd go to a hidden door hinge. These things just get ruined from paint chips and the vehicle would look so much cleaner without them showing.
