It sounds like, for most cases, you'll be fine running whatever pressure you drove there on.

I wouldn't put $600 or $450 or even $200 towards something that can be accomplished for $50 and a little bit of time though. Just get you a slime air compressor that runs off the 12V/cigarette lighter for airing up. Yeah, it's one tire at a time, but the 20-30 mins longer that it takes vs doing all 4 is hardly impactful to a day out. I'm on my second one in 15ish years, they're made surprisingly well.

Airing down is simple enough with any standard tire pressure gauge and a key/rock/penny/fingernail lol.

Hello all,
I am an old guy new to jeeping. I have a 2023 Mojave. Getting to do some wheeling in north/mid Florida.
I have a good bumper, winch, tires and recovery equipment.
The only thing I still need to get is a way to air up/down.
I am looking at Marrflate Ten Six compressor with their four wheel hose, manifold and Gadge kit.
Total is about $600.
Is this a good purchase or are there other options?
Not a rock crawler, mostly higher speed fire trails, mud puddles, etc with occasional slower trails.
Thanks for your time,
Varooom

Airing down has performance benefits, but it also has comfort benefits. It's also the cheapest and easiest way to make a jeep do jeep things better.
Epic Outfitters out of Vancouver, Canada has a fantastic System $409.00 CAD$. About 30% $USD
It mounts uder the Passanger Seat. Complete with all Hardware.
Several of the Offroad Channels in the US have them installed.
Amazing Customer Service.

Two sets up choices: First picture can air up two tires at time quickly. Adds 20 lbs to vehicle, and bottom of picture slower to air up kit adds 3 lbs. Less than $25.°° option one is about $100.°°-130.°° depending on personal choices.

The bottom choice is handy especially if you need to help someone out or let it get out of your hands. And just uses power port.

I’m a big fan of Speedflate. Small business, great quality, and great support if needed. I use it to air down and up, with my co2 tank from preece products. I air up 4 37’s in 30 seconds, silently.

So here's my thoughts for what its worth; not just to the OP but to everyone that is interested. For the question (sort of), here's my air up/down setup:

I have the ARB Twin with the JeepNeeds Hurricane manifold and hoses for all four tires that you can see coiled up in the second picture. Surprisingly, I don't think I have any pics of everything hooked up and in use..lol.

I am one of those aforementioned out west rock crawlers so I almost never go off pavement without airing down; I do a lot of airing up and airing down.

The problem with most of the all tires at once air/up and air down rigs (including mine, which I have in all 3 Jeeps) is a matter of physics. When you hook four hoses that are all the same size together, whether into a manifold or daisy chained through a "Y" or "T" connector, you can still only pass the volume of one hose through all four at a time.

If you look at my manifold, there is only one air line coming from the compressor to the manifold and it is the same size as the four hoses that connect the tires to the manifold. So when I am airing up, I'm really only sending a volume of air down the four hoses equal to the volume of air going into the manifold. Simply put, I am only sending 25% of the compressor's volume down each hose to the tire (actually it would be varying percentages based on the pressure in a given tire and the back pressure felt on the hose at the manifold).

The same holds true for airing down, except in my case I have 3 valves that I can open off the manifold so I could conceivably be airing down at the volume equal to 3 of the hoses (but then the internal volume of the manifold is actually only equal to about 2 hoses worth of volume).

The MORRflate or Speedflate as another reference point have the lines from 2 tires teed together and then that is teed into the hoses from the other 2 tires...all using the same size hoses and fittings. So they are only moving one hose's volume of air at a time, even though there are four of them.

So honestly, and I know this is hypocritical since I use these rigs on my JKUR's and my JTR, the manifolds "look cool" (and I do look cool when I'm using mine) but for any one interested in minimizing air up/down time, there are smarter ways to go.

The speediest way to air down would be to use a set of the automatic tire deflators. There's several brands but here's an example. Only $40 for the money conscious:
https://www.quadratec.com/p/res-q/automatic-tire-deflators-95203-1500

Once you initially set them up for the pressure you want to air down to, you just screw them onto the valve stem and they dump full air off of each tire until the pre-set is hit. So compared to the MORRflate/Speedflate style rigs dropping the air from basically one tire at a time, or my rig dropping maybe 2 at a time, these automatic deflators will be dropping 4 at once.

As for airing up, The fastest way would be to have 4 compressors; one for each tire. I know, not realistic. The next fastest way is to use compressed gas like the Power Tanks do, using CO2 I believe (but I suppose you could use Nitrogen too because the dealers here in AZ think its the next best thing since sliced bread).

But if you do go the route of a compressor, it's important to get one with a top notch duty cycle, like the ARB's, the ViAirs, etc., because if you think airing up one tire at a time is slow, try doing it with a compressor that overheats and shuts off every 5 minutes.

Whew!!! All that said and being the hypocrite that I am, I love my manifold because I just hook it up and leave it until everything is at the pressure I want it, and I do mean all 4 tires are at the exact same pressure because they equalize across the manifold. Thanks for indulging me. Now its time to go yell at those d@mn kids that are on my lawn...
