Hello Everyone, I became the owner of a 2023 Jeep Gladiator Willys over the weekend. I'm super happy and excited this has been my dream vehicle for a long time.

When I bough the vehicle I though It didn't have Keyless Entry and didn't give it much though but after taking it home I noticed the passenger door and bed open remotely with the Enter N Go feature but the driver's door doesn't for some reason, doing some research in this forum and reddit I tried to check everything I could like the fob battery, tried to find the antenna near the driver's seat, etc. The next step is apparently to remove the door handle or check the wire connecting the door to the vehicle, is this difficult to do on my own? I have 0 experience doing this kind of stuff. Is there any videos you've seen that could be useful? Also, do you think the manufacture's warranty can cover this? the jeep has under 35k miles. If I go to the dealership how long can this take?

I'll appreciate any information I can get!

I've never seen or heard of the bed open with Keyless Entry. Maybe this is some kind of aftermarket set up?

If not then I want my bed to do that and you probably have a bent pin on the drive side. It's a pretty easy clip you can YouTube how to get off. Take a look at the pins for any that are not exactly straight. Even the slightest off angle can mess with it. Gently use some needle nose pliers to push it back into place, plug back in and test.

Dealer can also attempt to fix it. Dealer dependent on cost, warranty coverage, and time to investigate. Some are great, some you don't want to even look in their direction.

My tailgate unlocks/locks with the remote when the doors unlocks/locks. Is this what is meant by "open" the bed?

I had to google “Enter & Go”….. Sounds like you have the passive door locks?? You stick your hand behind the handle and it unlocks?
If yes…. Are you putting your hand in the passenger side door handle or drivers side door handle to unlock it?
Did you check the vehicle settings?
Without looking myself, but I believe there’s a setting to unlock ALL doors.
Do the rest of the doors unlock? Back doors, etc?

I have heard about a pin not being inserted in a connector causing issues too. I don’t know if this is the connector behind the glove box?

Also @Ignziz I think you are still under warranty. I would start with the dealership before you hit 36K.

Mine is intermittent so I have to find out where that connector is so I can check for loose pin(s). As intermittent is not going to work with the dealership. They will half heartedly try then say no fault found.
And before everyone chimes in, Yes - I know how to use passive entry when touching the door handle.

If 3yr/36k mile bumper to bumper warranty applies to your Jeep, then yes, warranty applies. Take it to the dealer and have them diagnose it and repair it. You'll need to make sure you can duplicate this problem at will, and SHOW the advisor the problem so he sees it failing.

This is probably not the problem...... but if I have my phone and keys in the same hand. My phone will interfere with the keyless entry. Separate them and it works fine.

Did anyone find a solution to the keyless entry stop working on the drivers side? Mine works fine on the passenger side, but a month ago, it stopped working on the drivers side.

Jeep Gladiator New owner! Keyless Entry (Enter N Go) not working on the driver's door IMG_4003

I found two completely broken wires and five others that had cracked insulation, ready to completely break. These are in the door harness inside the webbed door check.
I purchased a new door harness, about $80 shipped.

wiring harness is common, just replaced it on my 2020 wrangler.

ALlMoparPart is a vendor sponsor and had the harness to me in 2 days. About an hour/hour and a half to get it replaced. There's a bunch of YT Videos on adding passive entry to the jeep, just watch those and you'll get a good idea on how to replace the harness. Getting the harness in and out around the door handle is a PITA, but it's not complicated just tricky working in a tight space.

You,re welcome.
After watching a couple videos about removing the door panel it was pretty easy. All of the door components, lock actuator, window regulator and harness etc come out mounted to a “ bracket” as one unit. Possibly the easiest door I’ve worked on.
