New Poll - who is stuck in status “D”

So lets say your stuck in D status, and say I wanted to switch to color... Is that something that can be easily done? Do i have to cancel and re-enter? I know we are getting close to the Sting-Grey color option, I didn't think I would still be waiting this long. So I may consider swapping colors if possible. What do you say @JeepCares ? Can it be done?

Once you hit D and get the VIN that’s it. It is set in stone. You would have to start a new order

I am hearing about cancellations on custom orders left and right. And it appears that people are doing the same thing, people are willing to compromise and get a dealer spec unit because of the inconsistency and lack of information from FCA regarding custom orders.

Kinda silly to do that IMHO. If I were to cancel my order, I will not being buying a Gladiator or anything from FCA. They would not be get my money.

Now that many of us have escaped D jail, how long have orders been spending in D1? Do build sheets happen in D1 or would that not be until build starts?

D1 is another 30 days
(Coming from someone in C hell for 60 days, so no sympathy)

Been in D status for 16 days .... not expecting to be out of it for another 15 days at the rate of these past posts. The waiting continues in our first stage of purgatory.

Well, Check order status and I too along with others went D1 , so I guess my question is a dumb one now.

I ordered a black Rubicon and changed my mind. Cancelled that order and ordered a RED Rubicon. The difference in orders cost me the steel bumper (no longer orderable). My local dealer tells me both are in D status, so that is a consolation.

I am one week from the “ship” date. Which really means the tentative build date.
So I will check back next week to see what (if any) progress is being made. Order date 4/26
