Components ELECTRICAL SYSTEM Potential Number of Units Affected 32863

Summary Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2020-2024 Jeep Gladiator and 2018-2024 Jeep Wrangler vehicles. The instrument panel cluster may experience an internal short circuit and fail. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 101, "Controls and Displays." Remedy Dealers will replace the instrument panel cluster, free of charge. Owner notifcation letters are expected to be mailed October 3, 2024. Owners may contact FCA customer service at 1-800-853-1403. FCA's number for this recall is 30B. 3.5 " clusters are the monochrome LCD ones that came in the base Sports, base Willys and Sport S models without the technology package. That is why the affected numbers are relatively low at 11K units as the lions share came with the 7.0" color LCD premium clusters.

Dealerships will be alerted to the recall from September 12, while owners will be notified from October 3. The fix? A complete replacement of the instrument panel cluster with a new one featuring an upgraded printed circuit board that promises to rectify the problem.
