Hello all. I’ve been racking my brain trying to figure out what tires to put on my new method 305’s when they arrive next week. I would like to go really aggressive but I know I really shouldn’t. I drive a lot for work and really need to keep it close to stock as possible. With that said what do you guys recommend? I’m open to all input. By the way I have a 22 Rubi and here are the wheels.

I had the Nitto Ridge Grapplers on my Tundra. Good traction, wore well, and were fairly quiet.

Cooper STT Pros were very loud, and seemed to get louder as they wore.

I've just ordered some Toyo OpenCountry R/T Trails for my Gladiator. I ran the older OpenCountry R/T on my Tundra and really really liked their performance in rain, snow, and lite icy conditions. Those were really good everyday tires for that truck. I really like the tread pattern of the R/T Trail and hope they are as good if not better than the regular R/T were.

I’m leaning toward those also.

I should be ok then cause I’m going with the c rated tires. I don’t do much, if any, extreme off road.

Mickey Thompson Baja Boss A/T are the only choice for me and I would push down an old lady to get to the last set of 255/85R17 on the rack.

The new Falken WildPeak AT4W would be next in line and I would spare said old lady.

?

Matching spare on a matching wheel always.

Cooper was bought by Goodyear and their quality went way down. I had some from before and after they buyout and the difference was noticable.

I just replaced my Nitto Trail Grapplers for a set of Mickey Thompson Baja Boss A/T's. They are an aggressive hybrid all terrain tire with the 3PMSF symbol. They are alot quieter than my Trail grapplers but not as quiet as my wifes Falken AT3W's. Hers are slightly quieter. However, they ride nice but like many have commented the balancing can be tricky on them. I had a roadforce balance done on them and they are smooth. One thing i'm messing with right now is chalk testing them to get them to have a good contact patch. I keep dropping the pressures down and it still isn't making full tread contact on the outsides of the tire. I'm down to 25psi and i really don't want to go any lower than that. The fronts seem to be ok but the rear, since its lighter probably could go down to 20 psi. Thats just a little low in my opinion for every day driving.

Mine are 35/12.5 18 in the D load. I didn't want to go full 10 ply like the Trail Grapplers.

I have been running Nitto Ridge Grapplers for the last 11k miles. They balance well on my Method wheels. They perform great on and off road. I have rotated and balanced twice hardly any wear. For my application they are the

Gotta love the Toyo R/T’s. Have 33’s on the wife’s 2018 JKUR, worn out 2 sets of 35’s on my 2016 JKUR and have 37’s on my JTR. Just an all around great tire.
