This is an entry level off-road event designed to build confidence and the foundation of off-roading. Open to all* Jeep® Brand vehicles – with Trail Rating, every Jeep® vehicle is engineered to go off road.

The Jeep® Adventure Academy will be taught with world class instruction from the experts at Jeep Jamboree – leaders in off road adventure since 1953.

The Adventure Academy is a great place to learn what your new Jeep can do and then go do it! I've had my kids do them here on the east coast. If it's structured the same, you'll do a little intro about off road driving concepts, half the day doing obstacles as they teach you what your truck's capabilities are, then half the day as a trail ride with guides who spot and talk you through the challenging spots. Instructors are patient and love building new off-roader's confidence. Plus you'll meet lots of other new Jeep owners or newbies like yourself. The price has gone up a lot over the past few years but I think it's still worth it if you can get in. Some get sold out quickly.

Yes it is expensive, $500 for one day. But to do it AT Rubicon, that's kind of exciting I'm calling this week to ensure mine qualifies.

I'd like to go to that one also. Since last year we've been talking about driving out there either late this summer or fall. If she can get a few days off at the end of October that would work out perfectly.

Why is Tru-Lok front axle listed as an Option? Guess i dont pay attention to Rubicons....

It's probably only an option in the sense the Rubicon trim in an option, it's not a separate item. Rubicon = F/R tru-locks period. Handy should that trailer get bogged in some mud.


Awesome this whole situation worked out for the best. JTR is a great truck, I hope OP is happy with the final outcome and enjoys her new ride, welcome to the club.

Yes! Just the gatekeeper and the bowl, but that was enough lol - so much fun!! The guides were amazing!!!

You would have made it. It’s hard, but not even close to impossible. If you give yourself enough time, it’s really fun. I can’t wait to do it again.

Only if those things are necessary (or even wanted) later.
Would be a 100% total waste in my case. (and I'd bet in at least 1/3 the Rubicons sold, the lockers don't get used)

I would bet that the amount of Rubicons that never have the lockers used is much closer to 75%
