Do you have any experience with putting velcro patches on the headliner ? I was curious if they would stick and/or be removable without damaging the headliner ?
Yup! I have a few patches and we are continually adding more. Sticks really well. I can't tell if the velcro pulls the fabric as I don't move them around too much. Doesn't seem to be an issue from my experience.

That kinda seals it, seems these check all the boxes. I do like the military look of the Invictus. The camo and mole straps are great, but as stand alone headliner, for sound deadening and heat dissipation the Hotheads seem the best option.

Thank you, I will most definitely be looking into these. Do you have any experience with putting velcro patches on the headliner ? I was curious if they would stick and/or be removable without damaging the headliner ?
I don't, sorry. I've seen other people put patches on the headliner, so I know they'll stick, but I don't know if it causes any damage when removing them.

Follow some of the Wrangler forums and you'll see that unless you live in an extremely hot climate, these are pointless.

I put them in my wrangler early on (highly rated non-mopar) and they were dumb - at least for me here in Oregon. Sold them on eBay to a guy in Arizona and he replied back after the summer that although there was a difference, he wouldn't have bought them new and even then wouldn't buy them again.

I think it depends on what you are going for. For hot climates, the headliners definitely help keep your head cooler. However, considering the acoustic improvements and aesthetics (I hate the white interior) headliners are a good option.

I went with Coverkings Topiliner, https://www.coverking.com/more-covers/jeep/topliner.html

It is definitely a more involved install but can be done in half a day. For me, there was some modification required and I've had to adjust things over time. The end result looks great, no more white interior, audio is improved, and road noise lessoned only slightly.

My High Altitude Diesel came with the headliner and it was listed on the window sticker. It’s a 21 of course. I also noticed that if you pick the headliner that it removes the diesel. I have no idea if it makes the truck cooler as I’ve alw had it. I can highly recommend the Hotheads sound assassin kit though. Fits great under the factory headliner and drastically reduced interior ambient noise.

I have a 2021 diesel hardtop with factory headliner. The dealer ordered it for inventory that way.

The dealer probably added it to the vehicle after it was delivered to them before you bought it. It is not possible to add the headliner to the diesel on the build sheet

I doubt that.It was on the invoice on the Jeep dealer website plus I picked up the truck the day it was delivered to the dealer.

Thats cool.... not sure how they pulled it off but Good for You !!! I haven't seen it available atleast for the last year from the Jeep build site or any of about 5 dealerships in my area. It was not available as an option when I placed my 22 order. Nothing the after market can't fix and from my research, after market seems like a better choice anyway.

No doubt aftermarket is better.

Liquor Attorney. So not all bad...
Headliner weighs too much and reduces the load capacity of the oil burner models so Jeep had to cut it - too many threads about diesel's hitting the bump stops...

KIDDING ?
