His window sticker likely shows a build-time delete and small price credit. It is supposed to be standard equipment on 2022 Rubicon.Could this have been an oddball covid shortage build?

I have one similar, only I have 3 power ports (2 12v, 1 USB), as the on/off is controlled by my switch pod in the cab. It's more useful than something made for a home. For charging phones and a small fan - run 12v back there, skip the 110.
I charge my phone, tablet, hearing aids, etc. in the bed USB outlets I installed and could even run my wife's USB powered fans with it. These days you can get whisper quiet nice fans that run on battery and recharge via USB. on low one of her fans will run all night before needing to be recharged - via USB.
2 USB ports to charge things, a 12v outlet (like the one in the dash) and a volt meter and switch ->

If you have the VIN you should be able to pull a digital copy:Yeah I’ll probably end up going a different route rather than the OEM setup. But thought I’d ask the question, you never know. Out of curiosity I’ll look for the window sticker.
No, only in the bed.You don’t have the outlet on the back of the console?
Did you run that straight from the battery or did you tap in somewhere else ?For charging phones and a small fan - run 12v back there, skip the 110.

If all i needed was to charge things or run a small fan - forget the inverter! Then you are converting from 12 volts to 110, then back again to charge the phones - a waste of energy.
My wife had our daughter-in-law bring us back some really very nice battery powered portable folding fans that recharge via USB from Korea - that's where we first saw them. They are a big deal over there. (my wife sweats at the drop of a hat and even has a USB rechargeable fan she can wear around her neck)
Since I'm only ever pulling low current, i ran it off one of the aux switches.Did you run that straight from the battery or did you tap in somewhere else ?
Nice, when using the AUX switch, do you also run the ground to it ?Since I'm only ever pulling low current, i ran it off one of the aux switches.
I ran ground to a frame ground point.Nice, when using the AUX switch, do you also run the ground to it ?
ALSO
probably in the manual, trying to remember, isn't one of the switches rated a higher amp than the other three ? Is it 1-30amp and 3- 15 amp ?
ThanksI ran ground to a frame ground point.
Here are the factory aux switches -

You will be happier with an outlet that you can actually use going with the aftermarket approach. I abandoned the whole idea of 115v in the bed and ran 12v to the back. I have 115v behind my seat in the JT and WK2. Never checked to see if they work. There is other threads people have posted on this and lacking the insider OEM inverter, nobody known to date has pieced a OEM inverter install together. Final conclusions were to abandon the OEM route and go with a aftermarket inverter install.
yup my 2022 had a Inverter delete at the end of the build sheetHis window sticker likely shows a build-time delete and small price credit. It is supposed to be standard equipment on 2022 Rubicon.
