Hey only downside is the solar charger would have to go by byPerfect time to add a blower me thinkshmmm.
Just imagine 0-60 in 6.0 seconds flat . And doing a burnout in 4 wheel drive on the hardtop. Seen a small truck that did that treatment. Not on a 3.6. At least not me.
Don’t get me wrong, more power is needed. But I want reliable. If the engine ever goes, which it probably will, maybe I’ll try to put a 5.7 in it. But naturally aspirated.Just imagine 0-60 in 6.0 seconds flat . And doing a burnout in 4 wheel drive on the hardtop. Seen a small truck that did that treatment.
I keep looking at these or similar for a tow mirror. I'd like to mount one to the rear of my enclosed trailer. It really changed how rock gardens are dealt with. And as someone who has a topper and zero visibility through the back window, my rear view mirror is back.
The front camera is 4k, I believe the rear is 2k, and the trail camera I think is 1080p. So they’re different cameras, just licking up the light differently. You don’t see the difference at all on the mirror in my opinion. But it shows up when you move it to a computer or phone.I keep looking at these or similar for a tow mirror. Question for you, the 3 videos above look like they are all different colors. Is that the way it shows up on the screen? Hate to say it, but I bugs me. Maybe I'd get used to it, but then again, I'd probably never have all 3 up together. Especially if like you suggested, they made a split screen with just 2 view.
The screen brightness is great in my opinion. It can be adjusted. I had a previous one from another vendor and it was either too bright or not bright enough. That had not been the case here. You don’t need to use the WiFi, and I have mine disabled unless I want to download a clip. To get this many clips, I just put the micro as into my laptop. The file system is very well organized and it’s obvious where to look by the folder names. They technically call the trail camera the “extra” camera. You can put it anywhere. It would work great for a cargo cam.Great write up!
If you don’t mind answering a couple questions…
How is the screen brightness at night - does brightness adjust to ambient light conditions?
Does your phone always need to be connected to the WiFi?
How’s the glare on the screen glass on bright days?
I have the TrailCam option so no big need for a front bumper cam. Do you feel that the front bumper camera would be suitable inside a topper as a bed cam?
If it look fine on the mirror head than I guess it probably wouldn't bother me.The front camera is 4k, I believe the rear is 2k, and the trail camera I think is 1080p. That’s my feeling as well. On the mirror is where it matters. I will say, since having this, I no longer use my go pro, and might never again. No more stupid go pro overheating crap. This just works. If it look fine on the mirror head than I guess it probably wouldn't bother me.
I mean, in reality, how often would you actually watch all three at the same time on a computer or phone. I did it on your post just to see the differences at the same time.
I'm sure with a little post editing, one could adjust the color if really wanted to.
Thanks for the review and answers.
