I want to run a 2-2.5inch lift and 35 inch tires. What kind of offset and backspacing should i look for?

Edit: sorry forgot to say this in the post but I dont want the tires/wheels to stick out of fender. Thanks!

Stock wheels are +44. You can find several wheels in +30, which would be a nice one to keep them looking conservative.

AEV Borah JL spec are +25 offset. I think AEV has several wheels that are about the same.

You can run stock wheels if you like them. No spacer needed for 35s or 37s. Just a minor steering stop adjustment by adding a washer.

On a regular sport with the narrow axles you may want to stock to a fairly narrow tire. The Kenda Klevar 35x10.50r17 is about perfect for this.

okay, cool thanks. Do you think the milestar patagonia a/t r will fit? I'm not exactly sure what the "10.50r17" part means, but if there is another tire with that spec will it also fit?

35x10.50r17 is 35" tall x 10.50" wide with a 17" wheel. The Kenda's are kind of a unicorn in that they are 10.5" wide instead of the more common 12.5" wide. With an inch on either side it means you have an extra inch of clearance before you hit anything when you turn. PLENTY of folks are running the 12.5" wide 35" tires. There are a bunch on stock wheels so you would probably be fine. Going to the narrower tire or a wheel with less positive offset just add's clearance.

Milestar's 35" tires are 12.50 wide. You can always just buy the tires you want & mount them. If you have issues add wheel spacers bringing everything out a bit.

Check the lift manufacturer's specifications on wheel and tire fitments.

I found some of the Icon wheels have +25 offset in a 17" wheel. That's what I'm going to go with.

My AEV Savegre IIs don’t stick out. I like the tires nice and tucked under the flares.

17x8.5 with 5.77in backspacing (+25mm offset)

It will differ for literally every wheel based on server also permutations: offset, backspacing, width, tire size, etc. Your best bet is to use a site like below to input current and prospective wheel info and see what it tells you the difference will be. I did this with mine and what the website told me was dead nuts accurate.

With all due respect I would not lift a Glad 2 inches and then use a 10.50.

Unless you like the tall skinny look but I don't think you will like the outcome.

Its going to look like a semi tire, tall and very thin and if you lift 2 inches and use a 35 there will be so much room in front wheel wells and then the narrow tire on top of that will look terrible. Unless you like that look.

If you like the wheel in post #2 I have a set of them that are brand new that I will give you a great deal on.
