What does the cooling system have to do with the oil capacity?

And a synonym for speculating is guessing….
Dude. He’s not guessing. He’s adding that the chart is also wrong in other areas as well, confirming that it’s not for generation 2 3.6 pentastars. I guarantee that 5 quarts is correct for every gladiator with a 3.6, unless someone swapped for a different oil pan. I’ve personally done 6 oil changes on my ‘21. Every single time I’ve added 5.0 quarts of pennzoil ultra platinum 0w20. And every time the dipstick shows full.

The engine oil capacity of a Jeep 3.6 is 5.0 quarts of engine oil. Jeep recommends using SAE 5W-20 motor oil in the Jeep Gladiator. Jeep also recommends changing the oil every 7,500 miles or 6 months, whichever comes first.
Definitely not. 0w20 synthetic. And mileage will vary based on driving types and conditions. Mine will vary from 4,000-6,500, depending on towing frequency and how often I’m off road.

You got the 5 quarts right. Everything else is contrary to the owners manual which recommends 0W-20 oil and to follow the OLM for change interval and not to exceed 10K miles or 12 months in service.

You might be confusing some of the JK spec for oil changes and the previous generation 3.6L
Just joined, no history, put a street address in profile?
Apparently hasn't browsed here at all otherwise the capacity and other "recommendations" have been here for over 3 years.
I find it amusing someone would post from a generic site instead of the owners manual, personally.

Really guys? You let a fake account revive this thread and then ran with it?
See my post just above yours........ all the signs are there, and you caught it fastly.

Brand new members putting up posts that are so generic and with links is often a tell - over 3/4 of the time it's a tell.
