For those of you with EcoDiesel orders placed, here's some info on the oil filter you'll probably want to hang onto for later. Do NOT use a Gen 2 filter. Yes, those are cheap and easy to find, but don't use one.

You can buy the correct Gen 3 filter from dieselfiltersonline.com for 50% off list price.
Also, if you shop around you can find oil that meets MS-12991 spec for around $6.50 per quart. Valvoline, Motul, Redline, etc. all offer options.
