Filter or oil?
I didn’t think they met the spec for oil..?

They don't get their oils certified, so no, they don't meet spec. At that point it doesn't matter how good the oil might be, warranty could potentially be denied.

Unless you are dealing with a third party seller on Amazon that is actually a CDJR dealership, I would avoid Amazon on getting anything advertised as a genuine MOPAR filter

Just leaving the dealer after trying to get one of my 3 free Oil Changes because they can't get their hands on a filter.

Where are you guys getting them?

Had the same issue with the Prince Frederick dealer. They ordered one and got it in a week. They wouldn’t install a non-Mopar filter.

I do my own oil changes, and as long as the motor is under warranty, it’ll be Mopar filters only. If anything happens and there’s not a little “M” emblem on the oil filter, you’re done. I keep receipts and take pics of the oil(showing the MS 12991) and just deal with it. It ain’t worth the headache otherwise.

Check you local autozone I just bought a oem 3.6 filter on Sunday I'd say away from ebay and Amazon too many knock offs floating around from what I understand
