Think it was this one that scared me off...

Found that showing no load and under load amp draws.

13 and 22.9 for the single, 28 and 50 for the twin (which kinda makes sense being just 2 singles plumbed together).

Maybe that 50 amp draw is an extreme circumstance, but with my luck, it would blow that fuse every time I put it under pressure. I erred on the side of caution knowing the single can't get to 40.

I'd be bummed to hear I was wrong, 2 is always better than one. I think.

Worth mentioning though if you start simple... the supplied orange ARB hose reaches all 4 tires no problem.

It's solid built, has a deflator button on the side which bleeds pressure off real gentle like. Gauge was consistent and matched my TPMS readings within a pound (gauge was lower than truck computer). Next time I fiddle with it I'll just know to match that.

Nice. The digital readout would be good, especially being backlit. I messed with mine in the garage in some shadows and you need a bit of light to read it. Dark roadside I'll be holding a flashlight with my neck or getting a headlamp.

Ah that's cool, adjustable to the pressure you want, screw on and let them do their thing. Probably by the time you walk around screwing them on they'd be done and you can walk around and take them off. Pretty fast and neat.

Yes they are fairly quick, but super easy.

I'm gonna run a line to each side seat with a closed end airchuck under each.
They'll be accessible from under the seat. IE not sticking out the side. Then I'll have 2 hoses made with a lead and T fitting then long enough to reach the tires. I'll also carry my 30ft hose for when air is needed past that.

For what it's worth, I went with CO2 as my on board air setup. Back when I decided on that solution I was running a '99 TJ and the popular choices were the electric ARBs & ViAir pumps, York compressors that ran as an engine accessory and CO2. All have their pros and cons, but I have to say I've never regretted my decision.

I didn't go with a name brand CO2 system. They've always been overpriced in my opinion. I went with 2 10lb aluminum tanks that you would use for a bar beer tap. At the time you could pick them up with a grab handle for around $70. I run a fixed flow regulator, similar to what you can find on Ebay by searching, "CO2 Tank High Flow 150psi Fixed Flow Regulator". I have a coiled air hose, fittings and smaller impact wrench that travel with the tanks as a kit.

My tanks are probably due a pressure re-certification, I'm not sure what that runs. Tank fills at the fire supply store ran $10-15 if I remember correctly. On going cost is probably the biggest drawback to CO2, but it's literally been years since I've had mine filled. When I was using them regularly, I still only filled one of them at the most once a month.

I run 2 tanks because when you're out, you're out. There's no slowing down, they just quit working. That said, I was filling 35" tires from about 10 psi and could make multiple trips without need to refill. They fill tires fast and as I mentioned they'll run air tools. I worked out of a small shop with not enough power to run a generator and I used my tanks for a year or so as my shop air.

Portability is a pro with CO2. I've been through several Jeeps and trucks and still have the same setup. I've used the tanks for fill-ups at the beach and for changing tires on the road. I'm working on a setup for my Gladiator now that will allow me to mount them to a drawer in the bed. I'll try to remember to share when I get that done.

Best onboard system ever, but not a workable solution for the JK and on. Did not have the output of the CO2 systems but would out preform any 12/24 volt electric compressor.
