Basically I've heard that a person can make a hydrogen generator for a diesel engine leak it into the intake and not under pressure or storage of any sorts. It helps with the combustion of the diesel engine. Improving mpg. I'm hoping someone here has any info on them or even done it on another diesel.Hydrogen for what?
Hydrogen is EXTREMELY volatile, and requires very strict storage conditions.

Yeah I know nothing is free . Hoping for some information on it that's all. Mostly wondering does it actually work? Vs the energy it takes to make it. Does it actually take that much energy to make it vs what you may gain in mpg?You make hydrogen by applying a voltage across a container of water.
Its called electrolysis.
Hydrogen is not an energy source. Its an energy storage medium. Elemental hydrogen does not exist in nature. So the energy you spend by making it through electrolysis is the same that will be liberated when you burn it.
There is no free lunch.
Making hydrogen is a great use for nuclear plants at night when demand is low. But you wouldn't want to make it with your car. Since the extra electrical load will make the alternator more difficult to turn which will cause your car to use more extra energy turning the alternator than could be liberated by burning the hydrogen.
No free lunch.
And yes. WHY???
I don't know what you mean by "does it work".Yeah I know nothing is free . Hoping for some information on it that's all. Mostly wondering does it actually work? Vs the energy it takes to make it. Does it actually take that much energy to make it vs what you may gain in mpg?
This one weird trick big fuel doesn’t want you to know. Doctors hate him.Ah yes, the generic $200 miracle fuel efficiency device that so far has managed to elude the vast R&D departments of every major automaker...but dozens of generic sellers on Amazon have figured it out!
