LED is the one that I wish I would have gotten. There are aftermarket solutions with just bulb replacement that will work for the front at a lesser cost, but I don't know of its longevity or quality. I would really like the OEM LED tails, however. Perhaps get the Advanced Safety option (comes with LED tails) and go aftermarket for the front? Too late for me!

Cold Weather, do not want or need the remote start, but want the heated seats and steering wheel.
Why would you want the heated seats and steering wheel but not the remote start? The Remote start is programmed so that at certain temps, the seats and steering wheel kick on automatically, and in hotter weather, the AC kicks on with the remote. Just can't see why you wouldn't use the remote.

Novelty item, not for me
Forward facing camera- I love this idea but I dont think I would use it much. Worth?
Yep, Rail system, very useful for me, I'm going with the Leitner Rack which uses the rail system for mounting
Cargo management group
- I like this but I only really want the inverter, outlet. I figure the lockable storage will have a better aftermarket solution same as the actual rail system. Worth it for the outlet and inverter?
Seems like a good deal, saves the hassle of doing it after you take delivery
Spray in Bedliner
- $495 seems like a decent deal, and it would be done from the start. But can the aftermarket do it better, especially concerning warranty?
I think I will be forced into it, getting the dual top, otherwise nope
Roll up tonneau cover
- Way to go or can the aftermarket do it better.
Why not, probably cheaper than aftermarket and it sounds good
Premium sound- Im a huge music guy but ive not even considered this. Anyone get it? love it hate it?
This is a toss up, I love this feature on the wifes Explorer, but from what I hear it GREATLY increases the cost of the windshield replacement!
Adaptive Cruise - on paper it seems like something I could def live without, plus it makes you take active safety. These seem like a big no to me, am I wrong?
No brainer, Yes for these last two!
Premium LED - yes they look great! buuuut, is it something I can just do via the aftermarket later?
Aux Switch group - This is one I feel Is a must have. Change my mind. :D

We actually got the Cold Weather package because of the remote start. Yes, we can get it separately, but it wasn’t much more to have heated seats and steering wheel. We live in Florida, but we won’t be here forever and will make trips to the mountains. But again, we got remote start first (super nice to have AC going down here in the south) and the heated bits were more of an auxiliary.

that is one they probably figured the aftermarket would handle for them.
They (Jeep) keep talking of doing it as an OEM option, and I would like for something like this to be integrated rather than a tack on. I won’t be doing much towing, but I feel it should be a standard for a truck. Especially a midsize with such a massive tow rating.

I agree. Surely it will be standard on the diesel...

Why did you feel adaptive cruise was a must? I drive a ton of highway and use cruise all the time but I just dont think I would ever use or need that. I could see if maybe I was following my wife on doing a trip or something maybe. Never happens. I dunno im just not sold on that one.
It is life changing. Drive a vehicle with it and there is no going back. Seriously. I didn’t know it was a thing until we got my wife’s telluride, luckily I realized I needed it before it was too late to change my order.

I don't have a Gladiator (yet), but I do have some experience with similar options on my current vehicles (Colorado and BMW i3s). Pretty good discussion here overall, but here's my $.02 on a few options:

Factory Brake Controller - I agree this was a big miss on FCA's part, but at least it sounds like it will finally be here soon
Adaptive Cruise Control - I have this on my BMW and really like it. I wouldn't consider this a must have, but I just might add it to my build. I drive down a lot of rural two lane roads where it is often difficult to find a gap to pass the many slow drivers and this option reduces my stress level greatly. Keep in mind you might get an insurance discount to offset the cost, too (State Farm says I can save 30% with the active safety feature boxes checked).
Roll Up Tonneau - I've seen the factory cover up close and it looks a lot better and higher quality than most covers to me. I like the twill that matches the premium soft top. For those recommending the cheaper options on Amazon make sure you take into account that they are often "inside the rails" installs. I have something like this (Truxedo) on my Colorado and it didn't dawn on me until after I installed it that this would take up a significant amount of the width of my box. It's barely wider than 4' with the cover rails on which has been a bit annoying for my purposes. The factory cover sits on top of the bed sides and doesn't take up any of the open bed width. I also don't like the plasticky look/feel of most other tonneau covers.
Premium LED - I'm looking at a Sport or Sport S which doesn't have this feature available. Luckily the Mopar headlights are available separately so I'll likely be upgrading these after the fact. I have had LED headlights on my last couple of cars (minus the Colorado) and they make a huge difference.
Proximity Locks - I *really* wish this was an option for the Sport S. Again, my last couple of cars (minus the Colorado) have had this and I've had very good experiences with them. Particularly nice in the dead of winter (I live in NW Minnesota).

My wife's van has ACC, I can see how some people MAY like it. However, if you drive in the right lane, at or near the speed limit (on the highway) ACC is not your friend. You can be cruising along and start to wonder, it seems like I was overtaking this car in front of me. Look down and now you are going 62 mph and cruise is set at 74. It is way too smooth and even on the lowest setting, makes adjustments way too early for me.

When I'm scanning local inventory on Jeep.com for Sport S models, the #1 most important feature to me is Max Tow for the 4.10 gearing under factory warranty. (Assuming you are not going Rubicon). Beyond that, I check Cold Weather group and the 7" radio. Aux switches nice from factory but can be added after for a little more cost and hassle, preferred. Anything else I would rather do aftermarket.

Oh, and hard top in black, with an intent to add front Sunrider option from Bestop after the fact.

Things I would NOT want include leather seats (not a fan in general since they breathe worse than cloth and they make the lowest position of the driver seat higher on Gladiator, bad for tall me). And of course ACC/FCW (AKA the "Evil Box") it blocks windshield space and it is an expensive nanny-state option...other threads on this with opinions on both sides.

First I have heard of this. So the seat heights are different between cloth and leather? I have been going back and forth between leather and cloth...mostly because wife wants the rear center armrest w/cup holders. But I am 6ft tall and in my JK have to have the driver seat as low as it will go.
