this is my sixth jeep, gladiators ride better and offer utility that jl can't. try cramming big camping or costco trip in a regular jeep.

I'd put the ride of my wife's 26 JLU up against most Gladiators. They've seriously made improvements in ride and handling. Steering is tight and true. Ride is impressive.this is my sixth jeep, gladiators ride better and offer utility that jl can't. try cramming big camping or costco trip in a regular jeep.
Bruh!!! I was so close to having that same setup!!!!! Wifey preferred the cockpit of the 4Runner to the Wrangler.Done!

| Like others, we have 'em both. If I had one to drive as a sole vehicle, I'd choose the Gladiator. You get overall more space and utility. Plus as a Coach, I can place stinky gear and muddy equipment in the bed. In the Wrangler, it stinks up the joint and is a tough fit. The Wrangler is actually fairly nimble and easier to park. We honestly love them both, but the JT would get the nod overall. |
My wife had been jealous of me taking the doors/top off on my Wrangler and Gladiator. She took one look at the Tuscadero Pink and she was sold. It was past time to ditch the mom mobile, Grand Cherokee anyway.Bruh!!! I was so close to having that same setup!!!!! Wifey preferred the cockpit of the 4Runner to the Wrangler.
Im good with her getting the 4Runner. Caught her looking at Grrumpy grilles when she thought I wasn’t looking. My wife had been jealous of me taking the doors/top off on my Wrangler and Gladiator. I see what you did there (SHORTER)Gladiator for camping trips and having room for cargo.
Wrangler for shorter off road runs and 1-2 day adventures.
Nuclear option: BOTH
Most levels of JT - 6,000 pound towing - and my Mojave is limited to UNDER 900 pounds payload.Gladiator if you tow anything bigger than a small utility trailer. Go big on the lift and deep on the gears. Armor up the belly and the tail, because you'll drag it...a lot.
