That's accurate for me.In my opinion, if you’re cross shopping a JLU and a JT, you don’t need a JT. A JLU would never be able to do the towing or hauling mine has done so it wasn’t a real consideration when I got mine. Now that I have my dad’s old truck, I’d rather have a JLU. They have a lot better power to weight ratio, more maneuverable, are better offroad in a lot of cases, and I’d love to have that power sliding top. It would fit in the garage a lot better too.
I shopped both, didn't need either.
