I’ve seen a few negative posts about people’s jeeps lately, so I decided to flip things. I want to hear from people that genuinely can’t get enough.

I’m absolutely a car guy, and have enjoyed a wide variety of vehicle types over the years. This one is simply the best of everything. It doesn’t need to me logical or practical. It isn’t. That’s what makes it so perfect. Every single mile, from the most mundane visit to Lowe’s or to get a windshield chip repaired (Tuesday), is just amazing. After 48k miles, I still won’t remote start it without watching the lights blink. I’m sitting and watching it warm up over a cup of coffee as I type this.

Keep the Jeep joy coming.

I've had a driver's license since I was 14 and the first vehicle I ever bought was an '81 CJ7 at the age of 18. I've owned a Jeep of some sort for 40 years and would never be without one...or three.

EDIT: BTW, the Wrangler in the middle was dubbed "Mrs. Jones" by my wife because, as Billy Paul would sing, "We've got a thing goin' on."

Outstanding. I kick myself frequently for selling my ‘80 CJ7 w/ the 304. And then I get into this one and forget everything. :)

My head has dents for the same reason. Sold mine for a Cherokee when my first kid was born and needed 4 doors.

304? Nice. At that time, my wheeling buddy had a CJ5 with the 304 and we would tear up a place called Noise Park just outside of Idaho Falls, ID.

So many good memories in everyone of my Jeeps. Can’t say I’ve had any comparable adventures in any other brand vehicle I’ve ever owned…

Best of everything ... that's a bold statement. Either way, I get what you are saying.

For me, my Jeeps are about having something different or special ... having a flavor in a sea of plain vanilla vehicles.

First time I dropped off the kids at school in the Mojave, the principal (a JKU Mountain owner) came running over and said "this thing is so badass". That just doesn't happen in a normal vehicle.

I'm happier today than yesterday... Swapped out the OEM tires (Firestone Destinations) for Bridgestone Dueler HT685's). Not an off-roader and wanted to improve the ride and road noise. The drive home affirmed my decision, very little to any road noise.

I had bout my '21 Willys last June from CarMax and knew then the tires had to go.

I've had my truck less than a year, but I'm loving it. I've always said, the thing Jeep does better than anyone is build vehicles that are fun. Today it makes no sense to have a removable roof, take the doors off or build solid front axle light trucks - but it's fun. Even the looks are fun, the big flying wheel arches that haven't been a thing in regular car styling since the 1930s, the boxy upright design, even the overall proportions.

And don't get me started with the diesel, I absolutely love driving it. The thing tows like it's a fullsize, I can drag my trailer up mountain passes like it's level ground and nothing is back there. I can't wait to get into the build with a lift, wheels and tires, and actually start taking on some harder trails. Right now we have to rely on the Wrangler for that.

I get it. I wanted another one. :)
Absolutely. I’d rather see the forum flooded with happy owner posts rather than “My market value is tanking” threads. Of course, the technical threads are very helpful as well.

I've enjoyed my JT since the day i pick it up off the lot 50 months and 87000 miles ago! I've beaten the shit out of it, broke things from doing that, upgraded things, learned a ton, and coulnd't be happier. I was so excite because when it came out it was an American truck with a manual trans which is what I had been wanting forever. I didnt want a ranger, taco, or raptor eaither. From then on I was able to go back to a dream I had as a kid which was racing in Baja, and in May I'll be running my JT in the NORRA 1000 mexican rally. It will be the safari class this time because you are not required to have a roll cage, but are also speed limited to 60mph. Thats fine because ti saves me a ton of cash right now which I'm using to develop my own springs, 2 patents, and starting my LLC on the side.

On my second JT, and happy as can be. The 20 Overland was trouble free, and provided miles with smiles. 23JTR I've only had 2 months, but so far just as happy!!

I find excuses just to go out to the garage and stare at her sometimes.

I've had 2 1966 Impalas( one was a conv), an early Fox body Mustang 5.0 and they made me smile just turning the key. They all went away for some reason or another and so did that smile. A Suburban, an Excursion, a couple of Saturns and a few Crown Vics later I picked up this JTR and I got that smile back.

Since the blocks were all the same externally, IF you still had it, one could drop a nice 401 into it with no modifications to the Jeep at all.

on my second as well. Traded the 2020 for this 2022.
The first quickly became my daily driver.
The cars sit a lot since I went JT for my truck.

“My market value is tanking”
I enjoy getting the emails from the dealer saying they can put me into a 2023 and cut 20 bucks off my payment (although the last one said no change in monthly payment)
The problem is - they have only 3 new Gladiators listed on their web site and one says "trade pending" - and I'm not interested as I've got this one half paid for. No need to start over for a single year difference and the ones on lots don't have all of the same equipment.
Happy with what I have and don't care what it's worth to anyone else, dealer or those carmax and KBB things.
