I'm sure people will think I'm making this up too. It does read about 1 to 1.2 mpg high from what I calculate at the pump.

The OEM tunes do not get the best mpg...I do not have a CAI, but I do have an aftermarket exhaust and the Pulsar Tuner. The tuner economy tune added 2+ mpg over stock consistently. Exhaust helped in climbing and the need to downshift (6 speed manual transmission).
I have read so many conflicting opinions on here about the Pulsar. Some say it does not help mpg, but does add some oomph, others say the opposite, still others say it screwed things up and they removed it. I want to want it, but leery.

I have had issues with mine. It randomly throws a CEL and ESC light. Sometimes just shutting it off and turning it back on fixes it, other times I have to clear the code with scan tool. It usually goes 7,000-10,000 miles between occurrences. The "oomph" is noticeable in the Tow and Performance tune immediately, but the economy tune is worse than stock in the "oomph" department, but even with all my aftermarket add ons including a bed rack, I can get 20+ mpg on a tank of gas with 65-70 mph highway trips. I average around 18.5ish. I have only run one full tank of gas of premium gas for the Performance tune and if I remember correctly, I got around 18 mpg which definitely didn't justify the extra cost in fuel for the little bit of fun it gave me.

Mine reads very accurate typically. Best trip I ever had was 21 mpg, but I'm a Rubi, 35" M/Ts and a manual with a bunch of added weight

I have an S, stock wheels and tires, no lift, magnaflow muffler in place of the 2 center ones and of course the controversial bed cover, LOL.

It calculated out to right at 24ish.
Just curious - when you calculate at the pump, do you try to fill the filler pipe all the way up, or just until the nozzle automatically shuts off? I wonder which is more accurate, since some nozzles are more sensitive than others.

I always stop when the pump clicks off once. The key to checking it is consistently filling using the same method and same pump. I always use the station that's about a half mile from my job and always use the same pump. I suppose that if you averaged over several tanks you'd be close but that's not how I check mine.

You don't want to fill the filler neck all the way up as you may get fuel in your vapor canister.

I have an AFE Cold air intake. Sounds good, gives a slightly better 0-60 time (1 second improvement) combined with an AFE exhaust. I also had an AFE throttle body spacer, but had to remove it because I couldn’t stand the constant whistle noise. It was not cool sounding like a turbo whistle, it was annoying like someone whistling a song out of tune. Lol!

Afe intake with scorcher.

More pep for sure, faster acceleration (seat feel not time or dyno)

About the same mpg, but its winter so its hard to tell. Winter blend + cold temps suck for mpg.

I can say, after watching with jscan app, the air intake temp went down after the intake. Im hoping that translates to a little mpg in spring/summer/fall

I would be willing to do just about anything to improve this though. This was a flat road with the cruise set to 75.

Yea...I rarely go over 65. Always noticed a drop the more over i go. Takes some getting used to but most things in life are worth slowing down to enjoy.

Well. That. And what? The difference between 75 and 65 for a 200mile trip is what? About 20 minutes assuming no stops?
