I've never even opened that little window.
Ya, I've only opened mine once or twice. But on our previous Ram that had a powered rear slider I used it alot. Pushing a button was so convenient.

I believe it should be...
Pin 1: Actuator Line 1
Pin 2: Actuator Line 2
Pin 3: power
Pin 4: ground
Pin 5: Illumination

But it looks like it would work. That would be a polarity reversing switch. I'd also grab a factory pigtail for the switch. That would make it easier to wire it up.

Good find. This is the route I'd go.
