The $100 Mopar version didn’t make it 9000 miles. Can’t be much worse than that.
Does not necessarily mean the OEM fuse was bad or faulty. Lions share of the fuse arrays going out can be traced to battery changes or aux battery deletes and people not knowing what they are doing or understand the two battery in parallel system and short the fuse array to include dealership techs.

If you had a bad connection at the pump, at N6 or a loose ground or even a bad pump, $10 or $100 fuse array will not save you. The issue with the $10 fuse array is that it may NOT blow at the rated value. I'm sure the $10 one went through vigorous testing and quality control, hmmm.

Either way, the fuse array was not the failure. Something caused it to blow. Maybe the dealer put a jump pack on it the wrong way. Maybe you had a lose connection.

where is this DC fuse bar in the 2025 JT? I'd hate to think it's a weak point that could leave me stranded. Keeping a spare not a bad idea?
It's in the under hood fuse box, closest to the engine - where the row of terminal posts are.

Some folks said they carry one. Of course, a person cannot carry every part necessary, but this is a small one that you could kill on accident so not the worst one to keep tucked away somewhere.

The fuse array is a part that is saving the vehicle from abuse. The abuse is from someone doing something stupid or an accidental mistake. Mistakes happen! Terminals don't get secured, cables slip when disconnecting, wrenches complete circuits and of course, parts fail. A pinched cable for example when in a collision could blow a fuse. Normal operation would not blow the fuse array. It is not a weak link. People are the weak link.

^^ this right here. Two things I’ve kept in my glove box was the OE fuse array and Canbus connector. They don’t take up that much room but when you need them, you need them.

Yes!

I'm not saying that you don't need a spare fuse array. Spiff happens! There are ways around it if in a pinch.

Are you talking about a spare can block that goes behind the glove box?

Yes, the green one behind the glove box.
Interesting. I didn't know that could be an issue, but a quick Google search says otherwise.

*adds to notes* 😄

It keeps getting better 🤣 it’s a $18. replacement that Jeep charges $100 for

IMG_3934.webp
It's dropped in price, and at dealerships then too. My dealership billed it as $399.00 "warranty" part. The spare I bought was about $30-35 on Amazon I think back in spring.

For anyone getting it replaced by dealership try to get the old one back, it typical burned one that is a double. AKA; so when the original batteries fail and fries one of them, they can bump over to the second one and send out. ;)
Side note.
One rollback ride for me, and my JT left outside at dealership doors unlocked and hood up over a weekend....

Yes, the green one behind the glove box.
Hmmm, something else to add to spare parts.
