thanks for all the info on this thread everyone. I ordered all the parts for the left door w/BSM from allmoparparts today and will report back when complete. I checked my overland and it has the pins on the door connector, so no jumper needed. I also have JScan App already and see the settings to update. Not bad for $150 if it pans out!
Got mine working today! Only took about an hour, taking my time. Planning on doing the passenger side next. It’s not clear that you really need the caps. They’re cheap so it doesn’t really matter but I can’t discern a difference from the original. Very excited to have this feature though, I rarely don’t have my hands full when trying to unlock the truck.

Yes you do need the cap! There is a magnet in there and the handle will not work without it. You could drill a hole in your cap and insert a magnet. For grins I took off the cap and held a magnetic pick up tool next to the handle and it worked.

Considering the low cost of the cap I would just replace them.

Hi -

The list shows "68299332AE" for the RF door wiring, but your website says it isn't compatible with my 2021 JT and suggests "68325453AF" instead.

Which one should I order?

Thanks!

Hi,

The AF will eventually replace the AE however availability of the AE is better at this time. Order the AE but please note even this is still 30 days out at this time.

Please let me know if you have any other questions.
Thanks,
-Benny

Benny,

I am dense. The last list you had said it was incorrect it was for the JL and that you had updated with the JL?

Can you provide list of part numbers needed for JT driver and passenger doors only?

Sincerely,

Stupid

I've been trying to get these parts but have been told by multiple sources the harnesses are on backorder - one of them with no ETA, the other out until mid November.

Am I doing something wrong? I search for the part numbers, any of them, and nothing comes up.

Which ones in particular Bill?

This is what I was told - I was digging around trying to find best price, of course, comparing, seeing who had them for immediate order, and this is what I got back -

The door wiring 68299333AF is currently on backorder and can't be ordered until mid November.
68299332AE/F harness; on backorder, no ETA provided.

(my other notes are in the house on that computer, I'm in my shop now on my chromebook and it won't connect to a Windows server)
The door handles don't seem to be a problem, nor do the caps.
I was quoted 400+ for all parts (2 handles, 2 caps, left harness and right harness) by a dealer of course they'll sell MSRP but I thought I'd check dealers for hints on how available these are.
Since my shop is full of other cars and no way to get my own truck into my shop before winter, I was hoping to get parts and start before bad weather hit as we're already looking at highs of 50 and nights approaching the 30s. My garage isn't heated.

Since these are repair/replacement parts they can be found within our repair parts catalog here https://parts.allmoparparts.com/ , Sorry but this is a different section of the site.

Please let me know if you have any other questions.
Thanks,

68299333AF - Orders are being accepted and we are expecting about a 30 day backorder period. We already received many of these and have shipped quite a few.

68299332AE - ETA is about the same 30 days 10/23 however there are notes that the supplier is past due so its possible this date comes and then it gets extended further.
