just bought it last night. was thinking of a few things id like to change.

#1. headlight mod. is there a cheap mod? I think my buddy has different headlights on his 22 Wrangler. mine look like simple round light. his had multiple lights within (I think)

#intake. I know these are not worth much but they do work a little. either KN, SB or AFE . I see there is a drop in filter and a replacement tube option which should act like one of the $300-400 kits.

#exhaust. dont want it loud but free up a little power/flow.

recomendations for these would be great.

1) Good headlights for these aren’t cheap. For me the Diode Dynamics units are what I’m going with. Multifunctional so lots going on with them. There are a few others just have to pick and choose what you want in a headlight.

2) Air intakes are mostly fluff but I do run a K&N drop in for road use and change out to an STP cheapy for the trail so the more costly one last longer. Keep a good hold of the air box bolts!!!!! I don’t know too many people that still have all 4 for some reason.

3) Exhaust is all personal preference but I’m a fan of MagnaFlow. You can probably get away with a lot more than I can.

4) WE NEED PICS OF THE NEW JT IN HERE!!!!! :like:

Welcome to the Forum and congratulations on the new Mojave!

Regarding the mods and specifically the headlights. I installed Oracle LED’s in my Gladiator back in 21. They have given me good service, provide great light and were easy to install.

Your 21 should have the extra wire you will need for the Halo’s at the headlight connection. With the new headlights you will need to update the programming for the LED’s and halo’s. This can be done via programmer. There are few different programmers people use. I use the Tazer.

With Jeeps and mods I suggest taking your time and thinking through your ultimate goal and buying once.

Hope to see you out on the trails!

I dont currently have a tazer. I have used them in my chargers . does the Alpha program do anything for jeeps?? I forgot the exact name. I used it to do some programing on the charger as well.

lights will wait. I must have some lights already because it says "lights out" on dash and the blinkers are working very fast but they work. they dont blink they roll from right to left .

boy these Jeeps get a bad rep from none jeep owners .

If you mean AlfaOBD, yes it will work with the proper SGW bypass cables and OBD2 adapter.
Although there are a lot of things a Tazer can do that normal programmers like AlfaOBD can not do. I use both. I make programming changes with AlfaOBD, and use the Tazer for the "live functions" which normal programmers can not do,

From my short time on the Forum, you will either Love your Jeep or hate it. There doesn't seem to be much of a middle ground! BTW, I love mine...

Not familiar with the ā€œAlphaā€ ,however, another alternative is going to a dealership and have them configure your Jeep’s computer to your mod’s requiring updates.

Nice ride! I've got a '23 Rubicon with factory LED lights, so I can't help you there.

However, I have installed the aFe Power Super Stock intake. It uses the factory airbox, but replaces the tube. I also installed the Quadratec dual exhaust. I've got the resonator installed instead of the straight pipe portion. I like both of them.

I'm also running 35x12.5 MT Baja Boss AT's on stock wheels. The spare and exhaust co-exist quite well.

I have a drop-in AFE air filter in my 2024 Mojave. I only bought it so I didn’t have to keep buying air filters. I bought it because its washable. I didn’t see any performance gains from it.

If you’re only talking CatBack exhaust setup, I wouldn’t waste your $. You won’t see any obvious or much noticeable difference in performance. If you get a setup, make sure its stainless. Most catback setups are made of steal (not stainless) will only last 4-6 years before they rust and get holes in ā€˜em. I had a Flowmaster American Thunder catback on my Tacoma….6 years later, there were holes at the welds. Took it off and put my stock exhaust back on. Inside the cab was soooo nice and quiet…..
