Rausch Creek in February 2023

I’m having a tough time freeing up for RC, 25th doesn’t work. Have a lot of weekends tied up setting up a camper at a marina in Delaware this spring starts the 25th! I’ll keep watching the thread though…..Jack

Will be camping that Friday night and driving home after the trail ride that Saturday. If any of you are out there that weekend camping as well come by and grab a beer / shoot the bull. Blue Mojave and a Grey Rubicon.

Looks like it may be wet looking at the extended forecast, should make things interesting

Just saw this. It was a great trip. Rausch Creek is absolutely awesome. I want to get back ASAP.
Was really glad we did a guided ride as it would have been tough navigating on our own having never been before. If you go, download the park maps on the Maprikia App (its a Ski Map App technically). Highly recommend Off Road Consulting if you want a guided ride. Camping that Friday night was a little brutal. Super cold, windy, rained on and off. Saturday was cold and rainy but tolerable. We spent the morning the NE side of the park, then came back to the main side after lunch. Did harder greens and easier blues. Knocked out trail 11 and Crawler ridge, checked into on the BoH app but then chickened out of Crawl Daddy, it was just too much, will knock it out next time once im on 37's. That being said, we did Tip Top, the 101 hill climb, etc etc. It was a blast. Didnt get very many pics given the pace of the group and the poor weather. Heres a couple I did get:

I have had a hell of a year, and this Sunday I am going to hit the trails for only the second time this year. Going to AOAA with my Jeep club BMJA.
If anyone wants to join, they will have groups doing all different trail skill levels.
I, however, will be in the Black/Red Group in my TJ

I'll be at Rausch Creek the weekend of June 23th. Getting there Thursday, and leaving Monday morning. Will be staying at the Twin Pines campground. Will be playing with the big boys, the Power Wagon group. I'm dying to try out my Frankenstein lift and the 37" tires.

Life got in the way again.
Next outing will be June 3 and I can't miss that.
I took a vacation day on Friday so i can go up early, setup camp, and not have to deal with the madness the day off.

Where do you camp there?

When you pull into the parking lot, the right side is for Camping.
there are numerous fire pits and some porta potties
They do not have electric or water
