I would like to hear opinions of owners that have the Rough County Tri Fold Flip Up tonneau cover.

Mine doesn't even touch the hardtop when folded up. It has stowaway support arms that secure it vertically.Like most flip ups I hear it scratches the hard top when it folds up.
How has it held up? Fit and finish good? I am considering their hard tri-fold and like that they have supports to hold up the 3rd panelMine doesn't even touch the hardtop when folded up. It has stowaway support arms that secure it vertically.
I've got no complaints really. It was already on the truck when I bought it. The previous owner had also installed a full set of molle bed panels from Rough Country. I didn't go looking for either of these things, but now that I have a truck with them, I wouldn't remove them. I can't deny they have proven to be useful. How has it held up? Fit and finish good? Can you drive with the 3rd panel up and supported, or you should not do that? I like this one since a lot of them only open 2/3 of the way.I've got no complaints really. I open and close the cover daily to get gear out of the back with no issues that I can see. It's sturdy enough when closed to support chainsaws, fuel jugs, etc....
I haven't been too concerned with anything I have chucked on top. Dragging stuff on it, it will temporarily leave a mark, but a quick wipe down with something like Chemical Guys VRP and it's back to looking new.
The support arms have been great for accessing the full bed length, and it can be folded partially back and secured flat as well. The drain tubes do their job. The seals all seem to be fine so far as I don't really have any water intrusion. Oh, and another thing I am a big fan of is that you can squeeze the releases and open it up fully from either side.
I was just near the truck so I grabbed some quick pictures in the rain. Here ya go.

I don't know what the RC folks say about it, never bothered to look. But I've been driving around with it open and secured whenever I needed. Hasn't failed yet. It has two separate support arms that lock into place. Can't see a reason not to use it that way.Can you drive with the 3rd panel up and supported, or you should not do that? Mine seems to fold up sufficiently close to my rear window, in spite of only having 3 panels. The older one only has 3 panels instead of 4 and does not fold up against the back window.
You have the 4 panel one if you count the slim piece closest to the cab. On the three panel version one of the panels is fixed and only opens up 2/3 of the bed. https://www.roughcountry.com/product/jeep-gladiator-low-profile-tonneau-cover-47620500Mine seems to fold up sufficiently close to my rear window, in spite of only having 3 panels.
I see. Though surely that would just be a different product altogether, right? On the three panel version one of the panels is fixed and only opens up 2/3 of the bed.
Did you remove the RC badging that they show on the driver's side? If so, did it leave any residue?High quality cover. Held up just as well as the Bakflip cover on my F150. Stays dry even with heavy snow. Tailgate opens without needing to open the cover. Note that there are two versions. The older one only has 3 panels instead of 4 and does not fold up against the back window.
