Everyone's favorite subject - tires! Almost as debated as oil.

I'm either going to buy tires for the Gladiator or my Camaro this year. Neither NEED them but both could benefit from something different and I budgeted for one of them this year.

Running take-offs from a Rubicon right now (Falken AT3W) in 285/70R17. They are getting noisey. They are heavy as hell.

I dont wheel anymore. The hardest offroading this thing sees is gravel roads. I typically only use 4WD for moving trailers and non running vehicles around on soft ground like my buddies back yard after three days of rain. I'd like to keep my current tire size. 99.8% of my use is highway runs and pulling my utility trailer to Home Depot. Later this year my commute will go from 10 miles round trip to 70 miles round trip.

Considered going back to a K02 like I had on my JK. I want a tire that is going to be quiet, ride/drive like a modern truck, and not have to be stressed over to keep from wearing weird or chopping up like blockier tires (like my current Falkens). Would like it to be lighter than these Falkens too.

One thing I considered is something like the Trail Terrains:

Any other suggestions or thoughts? I'm in no hurry. Thanks. Pic of truck for giggles.

Have you seen the Goodyear Wrangler Territory MT? It looks more like an AT. Price is really good. They are light. I haven’t used them, but overall seem to get good reviews.

Firestone destination a/t's get my vote have had them on 91 and 94 xj's and on a 02 grand trashkee. Gave them to my son .when I had enough of the trashkee. The wear is awesome on those tires .it's a square shoulder tire .made in Akron Ohio where all us tires are made . Plus I love the look of white letter .what I'm going to put on after this summer roadtrip to Yellowstone. Cause I'm sure I'll burn out the duller ht's. I have to Remember to reduce air as I drive west to altitude.

I’m a firm believer in running a good HT or AT tire for the little amount of wheelin I do compared with highway and byway paved/concrete roads I travel, especially HT tires no wider than 245/255-80-17 or 85-17 in heavy rain on the highway. I’m sick and tired of driving terrified on AT or especially MT tires 10” wide or more getting caught in rain storm and driving 50 mph to help prevent loosing traction and control. The Dualer HT’s seem to work pretty good in heavy rain. But are looking forward to replacing them at 50%, with Michelin brand HT tires.

If you want an all season tire, not an AT, then this Michelin is what you want. Your mileage will be better with this kind of tire.

I had 2 sets of those and didn’t really like them. Bought the second set thinking they’d be different because they weren’t OE tires on a new vehicle but instead from a tire store. They didn’t have very good traction. Easy to spin in the rain and not very good on snowy roads.
