I absolutely agree. If the review is less than 4 stars I move on. Most times it has to be 4.5 or higher depending on the product and availability.
When I first started working in nyc years back. A colleague saw me ordering food asking for help if it was good. He looked at me and went “if it’s less then 5 stars move on. There’s far too many companies to risk it on 4”

Recently ordered some wheels from Realtruck and service was great. I hate this happened to you.

Just this week I bought some 5100s from Northridge and got an invoice only showing 3 shocks. I reached out to them and asking why It only showed 3 and they said they only had 3 and they would send out the 4th when they can in roughly 30 days. I just said I was bummed because I’m trying to finish up the Jeep for a local meet in the middle of Sept. I received an email about 3 hours later saying they found one for me and are sending it out right away. That little thing meant a lot to me. I will be a customer of theirs for a long time.

I recently got some oracle taillights from @RealTruck . I was told coming direct from mfg and could be up to 45 days out. I placed my order and I got a notice 3 days later they shipped. Literally got them today.:)

I wasn't going to mention this because my mother told me if I couldn't say anything nice, well.....
I placed an order for their "Gladiator" tailgate lettering through their website. Paid with PayPal. Found a set I liked much better later the same day, a Sunday, and canceled the order. Never did I get a response. I understand they are out of business BUT they took my money and it took a claim filed with Paypal and two months to get my money back. If you are closed, remove your web page and don't take money. Rant over.

Damn i have a bunch of stuff i want to get through them... the online research seems to pan out they have a ton of happy customers. The rep on here answered my questions but so far i cant speak for ordering from them.

Yep. Everything I order from @Metalcloak gets me a personal phone call. @813 Fabrication & Design Always treated me amazing. Roam Tents has also stepped up for me. @Discount Tire had me set with a call from my local store minutes after I contacted them.
Off Road Elements also has been amazing. It sucks that people get screwed. Vote them out with your wallet.
I need to check in with Discount Tire and ask about tires for my Eagle SX4.
The ones on it are OLD. Over 7 years, YIKES! And badly worn because of the springs that are too stiff for the car.
The problem is, I won't take the car to just anyone because of the wheels on it. They haven't been made since the early 1980s, They weren't common even back then, and I just paid a grand to have them CNC machined to clean them up and re-clear them. They are like new, maybe better. Irreplaceable, literally. The shop that did the wheel work suggested I go back to them for tires so no one would mess up the wheels. Problem is they are 45 minutes away, in a really cramped crowded place not easy to get to.
So whoever gets my tire business for this car is going to have to put there VERY BEST pro on it who treats it like what it is - impossible to replace the wheels, VERY expensive to refinish them, on a national show winner.
I guess that's why I've driven another year on these old tires - I don't trust anyone to do it right and not put a single scratch on any of the wheels. The wheel centers are ones I made, and were machined with each wheel so need to go back onto each wheel. They can't be duplicated as I had the castings custom made and spent hours on the machine work.

I have had good luck with the major Jeep part companies, Metalcloak, Northridge, Morris, AEV, even Quadratec and any issue was immediately resolved. Real Truck has been my most unpleasant experience and I won't ever use them again. They absolutely made no effort to resolve anything on a missing order, replied back rarely, and in the end I just walked away and moved on luckily being able to just cancel the order after 6. Definitely a fair review of the situation is the best weapon a consumer has. I say fair because the terrible rant reviews always make me question the person writing it...its like that person at the return counter at a store who is obviously not following the stores return policy and feels the best way to get what they want is to start making a scene. Solid fair review and then take your money elsewhere in the future.

When you reached out to me via email I had my customer service team look into this. Usually, they are very spot on when it comes to the tickets and I thought they resolved this and were getting you taken care of. Unfortunately what happened is the rep who looked at it thought all 4 shocks had shipped instead of just three of them. Once I caught what had happened we had put in the cancellation with the vendor that was supposed to ship them for the singular shock. I am showing on my end that you were sent an email verifying that we are going through the cancellation process, which does take some time, however, this should have been communicated to you. I also see that a request was put in yesterday to have the 3 shocks returned and we are working on getting the return label to you as well.

In reviewing your order and the related tickets, it looks to be an error on our end I take full responsibility. While it was not intentional, it's still on us to communicate the process, expectations, and next steps to you. In this case, we clearly did not adequately do so. I apologize for the negative experience you had with our team. I am coordinating with my customer service department to escalate the return process for you. I will have my supervisor reach out to you directly today, using the phone number I have on file.

While I would understand your hesitation, if there are other parts that you need, please reach out to me directly. I would love the opportunity to earn your business again and prove to you this is an outlier and atypical of the experience we want our consumers to have
