2002 Gladiator overland (stock 3.6L) that had an oil change at 65,005 km almost exactly 500 km after that I had a check engine light illuminate on my dash, I scanned it and it was P06DD for "Engine Oil Pressure Control Circuit Stuck Off" and P1524 "oil pressure out of range camshaft Advance/Retard Disabled" the dealership cleared the code and were "unable to duplicated conditions that set trouble code at this time" less than 100 km after paying for an hour of diagnostic work the exact code comes back on I am going to be taking the Jeep back to the dealership. I personally think that my oil pump is going, when I started it up this morning to take it to the shop (closed for New Year's) the oil pressure was 8 psi. there is oil, the filter cap is tight and when it's driving the pressure is 28psi, at idle it dropped to 6 then crawled back to 9. when I took off from the light it climbed back to 30. so what do you guys think?
