I have noticed a few drops now and then. Being a longtime Jeeper, I know most all removable tops leak. But, last night the JT was left out in a heavy storm, instead of being garaged, and the rear area is soaked. It is leaking all across the top of the window, wet under the black trim all across. I'm afraid the speaker could be damaged if not repaired. Given my schedule, it will be a couple weeks before I can take it in for repair. I''ll follow up. Thx
Mine is being repaired today. Get it in asap. My area only has one leak specialist who only comes once per week. He diagnosed it as a damaged weatherstripping, which is fused to the class. They had to order a new rear window which took almost two weeks to come in. Now a full day for install.

Thanks for the info. The dealer I've been using is very small town. I may go to another dealer near my work.

Glad to see I'm not the only one that's having this issue. Had the new Gladiator for about 1.5 months and just experienced the first heavy rain. There was a leak in two spots, appearing to originate from the rear window. Will be contacting the dealership to get it fixed.

I had my Gladiator for a week, then was washing the hard top in preparation to remove it and install the soft top. Thats when I noticed the leak in the back window and started looking online for info and found this forum. So I contacted my local dealer and was told to bring it in and that mine was the first one that they had any issues with. I told them about this forum and all the issues other customers have been having. They agreed that the glass had to be replaced, ordered it last week, it came in on Monday and today, Wednesday, they notified me that their glass people don't have the tools to replace the window. So now they are waiting for Chrysler corporate to tell them what to do next. This is already an unacceptable fiasco. I think the best fix is to just replace the top and avoid all the other problems that arise from trying to fix the issue. Can you help me please?:(

So the glass company came out to the dealer and removed the glass. The service tech, Josh, called me and wanted me to come look at the little scratch that occurred during removal, he didn't think it would require painting. So I was thinking the worst based on the posts I have seen on here. When I got there and Josh showed me where it was, I couldn't even see it! Had to get my flashlight out. They were supposed to put the new glass in today and hopefully pick it up tomorrow.

I’ve got the leak also. Thinking of bypassing the warranty hassles, and using black silicone caulking around the entire window, filling in the gap between the glass and the top. I’ll take my time, and make it look factory. Any thoughts?

Did you try this? If so, any luck?

Yep. Took the top off to get to it easier. Took almost 2 tubes of black GE silicone, from the hardware store. (Using caulking gun). Did it in 3 layers. I took my time, and let it set between layers. Rained pretty hard last night. So far, no drips. I believe it did the trick. We will see in the long run.

Great thanks! I came across this stuff in Walmart so I think I'm going this route too. Mine's only leaking at what looks like two places so I'm going to try sealing across the top and upper corners first. https://www.walmart.com/ip/Permatex-Black-Silicone-Adhesive-Sealant-75150/16879902

It takes a good bit to fill in the gap between the glass and top. I don’t understand why they didn’t design it to fit flush. Anyways, good luck with it. By the way, like your truck!

Thanks for the advice I'll give this a try when the weather clears up. Just noticed how old my profile pic was so I updated. Really like your light bar. I may go with something like that eventually. I know light bars don't weigh much but I've got to keep an eye on my weight and center of gravity. I feel like my rig's getting heavy. My Skycamp mini, Goose Gear rear seat delete, and Ace Engineering rock sliders should show up this month which will basically finish my build. The Rebel Off Road EXPLOR rack is rock solid but also rock heavy. At stock and full of fuel she was at 5,340lbs. I'll weigh her again when complete. Got to check out those update SC trails sometime. Stay safe!

I don't know why I waited so long to search the forums about this, but count me as member of the leaking-rear-windshield club. Already had it resealed twice and it's still leaking. Rear glass replacement up next. The glass isn't due here until next Thursday, so I'll update after it is replaced. Seems like that has fixed it for a few others, so fingers crossed.

Well, ETA on rear glass just moved from 8/13 to 9/1. I'm pretty patient when it comes to dealing with service but one month from the order date to replace glass and repair a leak (after two attempted repairs that both failed in the previous months) is unacceptable. And that's assuming it actually arrives 9/1. Unless I go the black silicone route I'm not sure I have any other options.

yeah it was frustrating for me too. I’d wait and have them fix it instead of the going with the silicone but that’s just me.
